No is the short answer. Some late night parties on E Class..but late night is not the norm...

we only do X excursions..esp in ports like St Maarten with traffic issues..do not want stress abt getting back in time. If your ride back dumps you like ours did on X e cursion for a group of 10 at a beach bar, . X/ Port Agent will send a new van and hold the ship if needed! Cabs back to the shio are iffy on St Kitts. Once we had a VERY LONG wait for a cab back from our day resort.. we were getting very nervous. Another time we could not get a cab from our lunch/ pool location to the ship .so we walked back..no choice. It was downhill but had alot of stuff to carry and went through some very local streets! We learned If we can walk back ok.we.might skip booking an excursion alogether..like Tortola/ Roadtown Best excursion recently was thru X over to NEVIS for the day from St Kitts We have taken numerous X excursions on all the ports mentioned by OP..never had a bad one!

We cruised w 4 mdrs on EDGE We preferred the 2 smaller venues..Cyprus and Tuscan, but did have dinner at all 4. Each had its own ambiance and decor..good food.. The very first night we were in one of the larger ones & were seated at a very long row of tables like a boarding house..Husb across from me..no privacy and orders were taken and slowly served en masse..AVOID ! We like to go for an early time, same table for 2 and same servers..if possible! Usually less crowded, quieter, etc. On of the larger ones is used for sit down breakfast and lunch. We had ..good food and service. We'll be on APEX

we like to watch re-runs of the Captains presentation and Beyibd the Podium Lectures while dressing for dinner. Used to enjoy one night in cabin with rm service, and a movie but as mentioned...for us.. free movie choices seem limited..sometimes they have old TV shows. We bring our own music..great portable speakers with I pod dock.. old tech but we too are old!

thanks for the update on ES.. sounds like a refresh but maybe not as extensive as I imagined..time will tell. We like 15th st Fisheries..There are so many good choices near 17th St hotels..plus places to buy wine and last minute items for the cruise. ENJOY!

Not much choice in Movies either... sad!

they also have performances some nights in EDEN and the Club.. on Ascent we had a solo Billy Joel performer..SRO in the Martini Bar area during the daytime

Maybe the planned update was postponed. We won't go back til we see photos! We like the location and Hilton Points but was very shabby..still had good service!

only possible with some Sunset Verandas.. not sure about suites

The E Class elevator system is quite frustrating.. often need adjustments. you can stand around for quite awhile as they pass by your floor.. Many folks will go up or down just to get onto one, and some folks really try to cram in more than capacity tolerates We try to walk alot but at dinner hour high heels can be bad on stairs!

If folks do not go for the high bids, the prices will fall..X does not want empty cabins....ships do not make money with empties..

great story.. keep on looking and feeling young! it's a blessing! if we ever go back, we would take the trip to Akrotiri.. we enjoyed our tour with wine tasting. but now that the ruins are open to visitors we would sign up.. Greek Isles are amazing! glad you are home safe..

too busy... tacky.. maybe one or just a few.. On Celeb not a big thing..maybe a Happy Birthday or Anniv sign.. For holidays you see many more.. nicely done..esp Halloween

our years old recollection is that on Reflection the bar itself is sort of circular..with chair hogs sitting there for hours.. The bar splits the aft area in half..not conducive to music..There are many lounger type seats in the sun..very crowded.. Sunset Bar area on Ascent is the best!

Are daily specials still posted on the sign board at Le Bistro? We would pick our fav, go for a late lunch and skip a full dinner in the evening.Not crowded, great food & service, wine list and a great view.! on Ascent, we did a take out lunch..sammies on fresh bread, shared a dessert. It was served to us just outside the main restaurant section..Husb got drinks from the bar next door. Very economical and avoided the buffet!

Glad to hear all is well.! .As those who have suffered similar injuries report, it does take time to recover, and there can be set backs...but with patience one can recover! Glad you have some nice vacations ahead!

I agree. We did the 15 day rt from San Pedro yrs ago on Summit.. 5 days over..and 4 or 5 back..but we had several ports which we enjoyed. There were many Hawaii oriented activities and lectures on board that kept us busy .It was good for us as we flew west to Ca from NY 2 days pre cruise and gently crossed time zones on the cruise. Only 2 ports would not be worth it!

our cruises on these ships were pre E class, so I defer to those with more recent experience ...altho I clearly recall it was an " issue" that was much discussed . we will be back on Silhouette in Dec. looking forward to it!

looks like it was a great day for you and the Queen in Santorini..Love the bracelets. We did a diff tour..but it also included a beautiful winery with great views, a tasting and snacks. .Our tour started with a tender from the ship to a place where we met our bus..uphill ride! Then the grand tour plus winery..and bus drop off in Fira. It was very hot so we did not stay long..hopped right on the cable down to the tenders...grabbed a quick bite and had a nice breezy ride back to our ship. Kudos to you for doing the donkey path!

less choice and def more cruisers for each set of elevs when they eliminated the third set of elevs....esp at peak times! It was a big topic years ago...
