We have KW as a port on our 4 day Silho cruise in Dec 2024 Already booked an X excursion and Specialty dinner to katch port times. Would be sad to.miss this port as .we know it is slowly being phased out. Costa Maya & Cozumel make it a W Carib cruise..hope OP can cancel or switch if desired!

we had the same reaction..above pur budget! Read an article today that Oceania will sail from Tampa..with some longer itins..Most of the ports are ones we've been to. Wishing for smaller ports & new itins. Still it will be another option from Tampa

Since the advent of pooled tips, we do not tip as much extra cash as we used to.. We give a group extra tip to maitre d in BLU or Luminae.. and it depends on MdR on E Class if we stick with one venue..or set of servers Drink servers get extra per drink and sommeliet at end..I do not think they must share. Room attendent gets small extra tips ongping l,and at the end..it depends on level of svc..

looks like a nice pool as I recall they were but no plans to go back to M Class right now... waiting for a Connie update We are trying Silhouette again. after many yrs. We were on her in her 1st season. We just need a break from E Class for awhile. Ascent was great but a bit too much party!

We call those the "racks".. all.metal not very comfy and sometimes a struggle to stay on as the water pulses Is the photp M or S class? it's been awhile!. Solarium pools are open. no cost..Adults only except limited family hrs on some itins .Persian Garden or Thermal suites with steam rms and heated loungers/ bench require purchase of a pass.. or being in sn AQ class cabin

but many aspects of Virgin might not really appeal to mainstream X cruisers.. too edgy!

can guests still observe the class? I .not interested in making something esp at high prices but it is interesting to watch them work

yes.. it was the best! Real therapeutic minerals and various water massage stations..Century had one too but they took it out to enlarge spa area abd add a barbershop!

the gym may be getting crowded with folk using the showers there as cabin over load

the upper bunk will likely stay open.. A recent review ( not sure which ship) had two adults..sisters alternating spots on the top bunk and their mom in the regular bed. They managed but space looked tight.

The Solarium pools are supposed to be kept warm.. with a few jets..ususlly not! No true T pools anymore on X we prefer the thermal suite on S Class ships but there is not a pool in the area

Hard to generalize... We are older cruisers.. We buy photos, take Celeb excursions, book spa treatments and Specialty dining. And a nice piece of jewelry now and then.. We have more time and money than when we were young! Seven to 10 days is a perfect cruise

Celebrity should send a clear message as to dining options on each ship.or class of ship It is coming across as ad hoc and haphazard..

With a special diet, it might be better to pick one dining rm for dinner and try for same staff who can cater to any special needs.. it is mostly the decor that differs.

Not sure what's up with Summit.. must have been updated . We loved it in the Carib and RT to Hawaii yrs ago.. Last time we were on it for a Bermuda cruise, it was sadly in need of an upgrade..and needed to get rid of the flies in the lounge dead and alive

After reading comments still hope our 4 day on Silho will not attract a loud and shouty boozy crowd. We prefer the usual varied Celebrity demographic.. something for everyone on board. We are booked for Specialty dining and port excursions so may not be an issue.. go with the flow!

glad it worked out. with the limitations noted. just curious if SPA hydration qpuld be the same as a medical service our friend's son has this done at lical hosp..outpatient center.. seems to take a few hours when he goes???

Agree! Noticeable decline in decorum. Hope our short Carib cruise on Silhouette is not like that! We have 2 ports ( not Coco Cay) & just want to relax before Xmas!
