  1. I received this offer today, and it seems the terms have changed. Our cruise departs Nov. 20. Originally, this offer was for either a 5% discount or 5% OBC. I guess I don't know what is meant by "5% OBC to be used in future sailing." Anyone have any idea? PAY-IN-FULL PROGRAM: The Pay-In-Full Benefits Program (the “Offer”) is available to guests who choose the option to pay for their remaining cruise fare balance in full after receiving an email indicating they are eligible. Participation in the “Offer” does not change the refundability of the cruise fare and guests will retain their normal cancellation policies. The Offer is available for select guests booked on sailings departing in more than 180 days. Guests who accept this offer and pay their sailing in full will receive 5% Onboard Credit to be used in future sailing. Guests must call the Contact Center or their Travel Advisors to redeem the Offer. The Offer is combinable with Back-to-Back OBC, Loyalty quarterly savings, National Account amenity or hosted programs, reduced single supplements, and onboard booking savings. The Offer does not combine with onboard booking reduced deposits, net rates, travel agent rates, groups, some statement agencies, or employee rates. Offer and pricing are subject to availability and change without notice and may be withdrawn by Azamara at any time. Unless otherwise noted, all amounts referred to herein are in USD (United States Dollars). Other terms and conditions may apply, please refer to the Azamara Cruise Ticket Contract. After the offer period, if a guest changes their ship and sail date, changes their category, or requests a refund, the Pay In Full Benefits will be forfeited.   2. We went off to see museums for the morning and part of the afternoon, so I can't answer your question. I do know that the people who were B2B (there were more than 50) were given priority boarding tickets that identified them as B2B. When we returned to the dock at around 2:00, we were able to board immediately.
  3. Azamara required that all B2B passengers disembark and reboard when we did a B2B that turned around in Fort Lauderdale. I don't know if this was a U.S. regulation and might not be true in Monaco.
  4. My husband wears his "trivia" shirts for gym and garden work. I think he has 8. Some have logos from two iterations ago. They're all cotton, and he loves the happy memories associated with them.
  5. Interesting. Onboard Onward in December 2023, CD Eric told us Azamara was discontinuing any support for CC Meet & Mingles.
  6. I used some extra OBC to buy North Sails polo shirts for the men in my family. They're very high quality and usually sell for around $90. They were $53 in the Onward's shop.
  7. Glad that it all worked out for you. I hope you were able to choose a veranda cabin that you like. Azamara certainly put you through a lot to get this done.

    Price difference

    I usually get 7-10% of the net price (excludes taxes and fees) of the cruise price back in REFUNDABLE onboard credit. Sometimes, I just get a check after the cruise instead. But I'm in the US. I know some of the posters here are from the UK; they've explained that their rules covering travel agents are very different from the US. Sorry I can't help you.

    Shop around on the internet. Then book with a travel agent.
  10. - On a recent B2B cruise, my onboard credit DID roll over to the second cruise. - There is no pressure to spend refundable credit. - You can easily use OBC to prebook excursions. When I couldn't make this work on the website, I called Azamara directly and got it done with no problems. - I've used OBC for faster wi-fi and for specialty dining when I wasn't in a suite. - I'm not a spa person, but you can use OBC there. - I've never bought any of the packages.

    All's well that ends well.😄 My $200 Refer & Receive gift card arrived in my inbox this morning. One of the conditions is that you can't use it to buy more than $200 and pay for the rest another way. I went online to my local supermarket's website and bought a $200 gift card. It will be mailed to me and I can use it easily with no concerns about the amount that is left. Thanks to Reid Esterson/Executive Resolution Specialist for your persistence.

    Two weeks since my last post here on this topic. Hope springs eternal. It sounds like Reid Esterson is following up on this.   13. Guess the part I have a problem with is 3. Once your Shore Excursions are booked, navigate to the payment screen and click “Cancel" It may work but it sounds strange.
  14. Why do I have the feeling that these instructions were written in a foreign language - and then translated into English by someone who was proficient in neither.

    Shore Excursions

    That's what worked for us in December 2023. Although we booked through a travel agency, there was no problem booking our shore excursions directly with Azamara by phone. Of course, it SHOULD be possible to book on Azamara's web site using OBC. Until then, a phone call will work.
  16. I can assume that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing - OR - I can assume that Azamara is testing various offers to see which one is most appealing to consumers. Consumer goods companies do this all the time.

    Tipping on Journey

    If you think that certain crew members have been outstanding, write about them in the survey you receive. Try to be a specific as you can. These customer comments make a big difference in crew promotions. I'm told that positive comments are read at crew meetings. So if someone has been outstanding, reward them with your praise.

    I should probably call this post a "lack of progress" report. Azamara has sent me an email acknowledging our friend's booking - but neither of us has received the $ 200 Visa card. Stay tuned. Watch this space.😎
  24. Just two suggestions: 1. Use a travel agent whose job it is to take care of things like this. 2. Hang up and call back and speak to someone else. Let them tell you how the calculation was done. You should be sure to subtract the taxes/port charges/fees because this kind of offer is on the net price. You should not have to "support" your understanding of an offer.
  25. If the amount of the discount was not what you expected, why didn't you question it when you called?
