  1. Our upcoming booking is a CC suite and we got it.
  2. As I understand this, if the solo fare is 150%, it means that the solo passenger pays an extra 50% of the fare. So if the solo fare is 100%, it would mean that there IS NO extra fare to be paid. Of course it would be clear to everyone if they simply said NO SINGLE SUPPLEMENT. I could be completely mistaken.😉
  3. No need to get all done up. The clothes you describe will be just fine.
  4. There's a WAVE season promotion that started yesterday.
  5. Thank you. Your words really touched me.❤️ If we don't care "for" and "about" each other, who will?
  6. I guess it was inevitable. My husband John has tested positive as well. We have a pharmacy that will deliver, which is good because Sarasota is expecting a big storm in a few hours. Our wonderful friends have made sure we have lots of food and treats in the house. It would be nice to feel like eating again. All in good time, I guess. Thanks to everyone for your care and concern. We did get to see lots of great people on the cruise.
  7. Azamara was notified. But knowing this board, I think Agung might find out more quickly from a Cruise Critic board member.
  8. Boarded on 12/12/23 and disembarked on 1/5/24. I felt queasy and tired on the last day of the cruise. We drove home on Friday (1/5/24) and called my doctor's office. They suggested I get tested for Flu and Covid at the Urgent Care associated with Sarasota Memorial Hospital. They called me early Saturday morning to tell me I had Covid. (I have had 4 inoculations and 2 boosters.) Spent the last two days with fever, chills, headaches, and vomiting. Feeling just plain tired this morning and I've started to eat again. If someone reading this is on the world cruise, could you let our cabin attendant (Agung) cabin 7049 know that he has been exposed to Covid. My husband is fine so far and maybe Agung will be too.
  9. We're on Onward right now (1/1/24) as second part of a B2B. Although we had two booking numbers, the OBC carried over. (Although I had gotten confirmation of this earlier in the first cruise, it was announced at the B2B meeting.) The first cruise had a very large OBC, unlike the second, so we were delighted.
  10. Yes. Because we are frequent Azamara cruisers, we get a 75% discount on the full cruise unlimited charge. The $7.95 per day fee for faster service actually costs more than the unlimited for us. It is NOT discounted. On many other cruise lines, this would have been included.
  11. On Onward right now (12/31/23) and the internet is incredibly slow. I've paid for unlimited internet and upgraded, for another $7.95 per day, to faster speed. This is still slower than my speed at home, but it is tolerable. I've been able to use Skype with no problems. The basic drink package doesn't limit you to a certain number of drinks per day.
  12. The Cruise Director on our current Onward cruise (Eric) told us that Azamara no longer supports Cruise Critic get togethers. There was no listing in the Insider. We did arrange a get together on our roll call. Eric was nice enough to announce the event, but it was during sailaway and many people missed it. We arranged our own space in the card room. No drinks served.
  13. In the past that would have been true. Things are so screwed up that I was able to call Azamara directly and have them email me everything.
  14. 10 minutes????? Perhaps if you show up after 4:00pm.
  15. When you log in on your computer and see them listed, use the PRINT SCREEN key to capture the image to the clipboard. Then paste it into a Word document and print it.
  16. Ok Allison, I give up. 😄 Still haven't seen you. We're in 7049. Please leave a note and get in touch.
  17. Brunch today from 10:00 - 12:30 with many choices. There have been carols and cookies. Christmas Eve dinner last night very crowded and loud. Food was mediocre. We're opting for Prime C tonight. This all would have been more fun if you were here. The best part of this cruise and the last is that there are fresh blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries every morning to go with my yogurt or cottage cheese.
  18. Very Christmassy. Captain Carl's four kids along with the others on board (not too many) got their presents this morning. Santa and elves made an appearance for photos. Lots of silly shirts and colorful outfits.
  19. We haven't seen your friendly faces yet, but we'll keep looking. Toni
  20. As Host Jazzbeau recommended above, use a travel agent.
  21. I'm onboard Onward now and can report that the internet is painfully slow. Unless you upgrade to higher speed ( $7.95 per day), you will be completely frustrated. With the higher speed, I've been able to use Skype. But it's one device per account, so I can't switch from my computer to my phone without signing out and in on another device.

    Rough Ride on Onward

We did set up a time and place on the roll call; 5:30 in the card room after sailaway. We're in 7049. Please call us or leave a note on the door. We'd love to get together. Toni

    Rough Ride on Onward

Azamara is no longer supporting CC meet & greets. Our roll call get together wasn't listed in the Insider. It spoke to Eric, our Cruise Director, shortly after boarding and he was kind enough to make an announcement about the time and place. Those who came had a good time getting to meet fellow posters and we've been happy to spent time with many of them during the past few days. Very different from last year in so many ways.
  24. It was overcast as we left Port Everglades on December 12 2023 for this 10 Caribbean cruise. The winds and waves started as soon as we got outside the port. It's now Dec. 14. All the outside decks have been closed since we left. Anyone who has wanted to walk around the track or anywhere outside has been using a treadmill, which rises and falls with the ship. The pool has just reopened. The winds have been 25 knots and there have been huge waves and whitecaps. The boat creaks and rolls. Barf bags are on all floor landings and ginger is available at the reception desk. Salt from the spray has covered our balcony chairs and tables, and this is all the way on deck 7. All this being said, most people seem to be having a great time. We reach dry land (otherwise knows as Puerto Rico) in the morning. For those few who've been holed up in their cabins, it will be a relief.

    Refer & Receive

Thanks for letting me know that you were successful in getting this resolved. Perhaps "Refer" will work this out for me. I board Onward on Tuesday for 24 days. Maybe someone on the ship has a direct line to get this done.
