  1. We are fans of Blu but not on E class ships. With 4 MDRs on the E class ships the menu options are greater in the MDRs than Blu. so for us the extra cost of Aqua isn’t worth it.
  2. There were spa staff outside the OV cafe and near where we boarded on embarkation day. On our current sailing they seem to be everywhere encouraging booking.
  3. Whichever one is closer to the middle will have the larger balcony but either will be great.
  4. Raw on 5 does not take reservation before the sailing. You can make reservations once on board. We have never seen Raw on 5 even 1/2 full.
  5. They don’t stack discounts.
  6. Not that I have seen, but we don’t watch the outdoor movies. We do pass by as the movies are playing and haven’t seen a place to get popcorn.
  7. They do introduce themselves but not necessarily my title; Good evening my name is Fred and I will be taking care of you this evening. Unlike the MDR there is no sign on the table with the name of your waiter, assistant waiter or sommelier.
  8. We just finished a cruise on the Edge and there was a staff member who brought water, juice, ice, soda, bread, amuse bouche, dessert menu and removed dirty dishes. We were sated in the samearea every meal and he was assigned to that section. I didn’t look at his name tag to see if his title was assistant waiter but he functioned like one.
  9. Many questions asked are more general than ship specific although asked relative to a ship. Examples: I’m sailing on the Apex what does the premium beverage package include? Or What is the dress code on the Infinity? Do they serve lobster on the Solstice. The answers are the same for every ship, so ship specific threads could lead to the same general questions getting asked even more often.
  10. Was standing behind a lady at the hostess desk at Luminae last night and she was asking about the charge for guests to join for dinner. She was told $36 pp, for dinner and $24 for lunch. since we are in Australia that included the gratuity. I also though it had been raised to $50 pp + gratuity.
  11. I have been told by a few TAs that the unsold cabins are returned to Celebrity before final payment.
  12. Champagne is Haslinger and Chandon. Mountain days are over. There are restrooms on deck 3 between the Martini Bar and the MDRs, on Deck 4 and 5 restrooms by the theater. Music in the Grand Plaza, Club, Eden and Sunset bar early evening.
  13. Suites guests can arrive at the pier anytime and will board first when boarding begins.
  14. Drinks in Luminae are complimentary either it’s a Move Up bid.
  15. Last 2 times we were departing from Fort Lauderdale the doors to the terminal were not opened until 11.
  16. We have done 5 corner MC SS and so far no unusual noise. Right now seas are a bit choppy and there is minor creaking and groaning but no more than we have experienced on S and M class ships.
  17. We are also in a MC SS and have not hear any more than the usual creaking that happens from time to time. Nothing to keep me awake or wake m up at night and I am a light sleeper. Fortunately no bowling ball in our ceiling. What deck are you on? We are on 10.
  18. In the Cruise Planner on line they are listed inder specialty dining and can be booked pre cruise.
  19. Main dining room, Oceanview cafe, mast grill, spa cafe, Sushi on 5 and maybe a special lunch 1 sea day in Tuscan.
  20. Price can vary as pre cruise there can be flash sales. Lowest drink up grade we have seen was $6.99 pp of +20% gratuities no discount is $15 I think. Can’t help with Wi-Fi .
  21. The price (including gratuity) if booking once on board Eden $102 per person Fine Cut Steakhouse $78 pp Le Petit Chef $72 pp Roof Top Grill $54 pp If you book before the cruise there are discounts offered.
