another question on amenities with successful move-up bid
jelayne replied to rinshin's topic in Celebrity Cruises
You are correct that you lose the Concierge lunch on embarkation day but you can have lunch in Luminae on embarkation day instead. -
Bring your own binoculars if you plan to see much.

There have been PUP opportunities and webinars but nothing that is currently open. Follow the link that @TourDeCruise posted going forward. -
Shareholder services transfered booking to travel agent
jelayne replied to AbbyCruiser45's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I sent one request for all our bookings for the year. This year I sent it at the beginning of January for a late January cruise, an April B2B and an October B2B. Three days later the OBC was applied to each booking, easy peasy. -
There are some laundry packages now that you can purchse via the Cruise Planner under Gifts and Gear. We just got off a 18 N sailing and I didn’t see any “fill the bag” laundry offers although I wasn’t specifically looking for any.

Yes they do sometimes award bid early. We had a sailing at early May and some MU bids were awarded just after mid February.
-
The shows are normally 40-45 minutes. What isn’t consistent is what time the shows start. We have been on 6 cruises in the past 5 months and the start time on some sailing was 7 &9 other sailings the shows were 7:30 and. 9:30. I can’t explain why, maybe someone else can.

^^^^^ this is the current wine allowance.^^^

Another perk, when I looked at PA. was priority tendering, which has no value on sailing where ship docks or for Elite and above as it is a Captains Club perk.
-
Or anywhere else on the ship with a beverage package.

Just a tip, have your preferred dates and times written down along with alternative dates and times. As often prime times or dates are not available. So having a backup option makes the process easier

Have they all purchased a specialty dining package? if so then it is a matter have making the reservations with names & cabin numbers of everyone. If not then it might be a bit more complicated as each party would be charged for the reservation, but I’m sure the concierge can help.

We were on the Ascent in January. Our favorite of all the Celebrity ships.

There are stretching classes, Pilates and other classes. No Silver Sneakers if that is what they are used to, but some basic classes.

Infinity AquaClass Sky suite upgrade worth it?
jelayne replied to Number34's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We have many times. -
Windy, raniny, cold days the balcony is not a pleasant place to sit and read, the IV is. Just got off a cruise with chilly, cloudy days, rough seas and rain. Did not use the balcony to sit on once in 9 days. The extra space in the IV was much appreciated.

The ships all have the same menus, except the E class ships. You can look at the app for the current sailing which will have the menus although the order may vary.

Infinity AquaClass Sky suite upgrade worth it?
jelayne replied to Number34's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Unless you are into spas not much benefit, imo. The Persian Garden area of the spa is nowhere near as nice as on the S class ships. You get a few free fitness classes. Dining in Blu is on a space available basis and you can order off the Blu menu in Luminae so no real benefit. Depending upon which AQ Sky Suite you get you could have a slightly larger balcony than a regular Sky Suite. -
While I agree with @the penguins that the connections parties not restarting had nothing to do with the size of the Roll Call, strictly cost (staffing, food & beverages and use of space). I do also agree with @Happy Cruiser 6143 the T Rolls Calls are dying on here. We are currently on aTP and it’s Roll Call had only 902 posts. The other Roll Call had over 800 members, lots of activity, tours organized, pre cruise meet ups, sailaway, etc.

I did not. I got mixed answers, some said no liquor others said bottle of vodka, others bottle of champagne. We cancelled and then ordered a bar-set up during a flash sale which ended up less expensive and we knew what we were getting.
