Since it's post cruise and you will be off the ship early, I would suggest the Brickell area. There are plenty of things to do, things to walk to and lots of restaurants. It's close to the port as you know and a short ride to the airport. I wouldn't suggest staying near the airport because there is nothing to do out there. Hampton inn Brickell is a great hotel as others have suggested and there are plenty of others in the immediate area that are also fantastic. Hotels that have great pools as well. It will all depend on what price point you want to stay at since you can go from the prices of the Mandarin Oriental and Four Seasons to much lower.

I went and looked at my Enchantment sailing that's in a few weeks and O'Malley's doesn't show up as a choice for booking so maybe it is a glitch for the Sun.

I don't ever pay until final payment. My next cruise was booked days before final payment was due. I had no issues booking specialty dining and could have had anytime I wanted for the MDR. I am sure others will weigh in with their experiences.

Welcome to cruising on Princess! I wouldn't be worried about making your dining reservations at all. Many people don't pay off their cruises until near the due date. I never book far in advance, the majority of times just a few months prior and I've always had the opportunity to book dining.

Not a package that I have ever across nor have I ever seen mentioned here on CC. As others have said, perhaps you could elaborate a bit more on it.

Haven't stayed there but I can tell you that it's walkable to all the restaurants in Brickell. It's south of the Publix that is on Coral Way/13th street. That Publix also has a liquor store and a pharmacy outside of the store. A Walgreens is right next door.

The set up is something to watch for the festival. The park around it has been closed for quite a while.

Yes, you can make a fare change to the plus or premier fare using gift cards. (You can not purchase the drink package) I booked the standard fare which needed to be paid right away while deciding whether I wanted plus or premier for our next sailing and purchased the gift cards to use for upgrading that fare to premier. Our CVP had no issues using these to change the fare.

I stayed there in 2012 when it was the Conrad (hilton property) while condo shopping in the area but we have had friends that have stayed there while visiting us. The rooms still looked great when we went to see them. Haven't been in the hotel since it changed hands but have had a drink at the bar upstairs, outside on the balcony. Some of the units were condos, some the hotel. There is a bank at the bottom of the building. As I said, it's a great location. You will have so much within walking distance and it's a quick ride to the port which you may still be able to see from the bar balcony.

You are right. Midnight Friday and Saturday and 10 pm Sunday. The worst year was when they held it over at the Marine stadium on Key Biscayne. Speakers were all pointed at Brickell. Between that and the lights, it was a long weekend. I have friends that go every year and I still don't get it!

You may just hear some base depending on which way your room faces but that will end by 11 pm. If you have ever seen the Bad Boys movies, this is the building that they use as the police headquarters! They actually were just there two weeks ago filming Bad Boys 4 in front of the building and in the area again. The lobby is up on the 6th floor in case the website doesn't tell you. Great location and lots of great restaurants in the area.

Smart move, you would have been able to hear the music. We lived on Brickell Ave and could hear it. Some of the offices in the area will close early on Friday due to it. It's an interesting weekend in the area. Hope you found some place great to stay and enjoy your time in the area.

Brickell would be a great area with lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Brickell city Centre has a movie theater and a miniature golf course called PuttShack if it's raining plus plenty of shopping and restaurants. The Hampton inn Brickell is a fantastic hotel if you are looking. Though I no longer live on Brickell, I am back there at times and just stayed there last week.

Oh I hope that is not going to be the menu fleet wide because it's missing some of the great dishes.

It should show you that you have some dining credits. If you go to book it, it should show the charge and then a credit before you actually book it. If not, I would definitely call and have them make the 2 reservations
