  1. I stil go back to this with the MAJOR news to share about Florida cruises that will delight clients living in that region - and help grow your bookings. Hopefully someone who watches will post the info on here.
  2. We've been in a suite on this deck on The Regal and didn't have any issues with noise that was too bothersome.
  3. @talkorpi have a great cruise. We are doing this on April 20th so I will be looking forward to following you on your sailing.
  4. Isn't the lounge itself just for elite and suites? Or has this changed?
  5. Guess many of us are this gullible because Princess is cold calling, or at least the group they are partnered with for the Princess Future Cruise Package. Been reported on here numerous times. It's from a 661 area code and says Santa Clarita. And it's extremely annoying how they make it seem like they are calling from Princess and know all about your Princess cruise history. Heck, last time they called it was right after my Sky sailing and they discussed that before going into the sales talk.
  6. You may very well be right but as a Floridian, I will still say that this is so far from a game changer for the local market as they are stating. There are so few stations and all on the East coast, parking at many of the stations aren't that great (especially Miami) and the only stop close to one of their port is the Fort Lauderdale stop. (There isn't that much parking near that station either.)Having a shuttle would work there. The Orlando stop is an hour plus ride to Port Canaveral depending on time of day and traffic. How this is going to be game changing or innovating is clearly overstating what it is. And Brightline had already partnered with a cruise line when it became the virgin trains for a short time and it could be tied with the virgin voyages out of Port Miami, so again it's nothing revolutionary. Brightline is great and there are great deals on it already. Just this week it was a BOGO deal but even when I lived on Brickell Ave in Miami, I still didn't use it to go to the port. It involved uber drives to the station and then uber drives to the Port. Parking at the port or nearby was considerably much easier and faster. I took the train quite a bit but never once for cruise.
  7. Game changing innovation?!! So now it's an innovation and from a secret location?!! This better be some big announcement! LOL
  8. That building is a new part of the convention center so that can't be it.
  9. Interesting! Is that a deeper pool? Hope you are enjoying your cruise!
  10. White creme de cocoa is clear. They used to make one called the Original chocolate Martini which was just the vodka and white creme de cocoa with that special chocolate in it and I loved those.
  11. Here is the recipe off of the Too Many Martoonies cards from Crooners. Chocolate Mint Martini 2 oz Stoli Vodka 1/2 oz white creme de cacao 1/2 oz peppermint schnapps Chilled over ice and straine garnished in a glass swirled with dark and white chocolate. they don't have that special chocolate anymore which is a shame. Enjoy!!
  12. I guess I've been lucky because that's not an issue that I've ever had that issue and one of the reasons I book the mini suite is the larger bathroom and shower.
  13. The OP has asked a simple question for those who have used the concierge on the ship and how much they have tipped them, simply looking for some direction on what others have done under these circumstances. Let's try and not turn it into a full debate on tipping in general or outside of this scenario so it stays on track and they can get some answers.
  14. Don't see it being Brightline as there are so few stops and they are all on the East Coast with the exception of Orlando. There are already plenty of discount codes right through Brightline and they always send emails with their specials. I just got one today as I have an account because I use to use them from Miami to Fort Lauderdale. Brightline is great, but I'm not sure that would make it a huge announcement and game changer. Of course I could be wrong!
  15. I think the market has changed a bit since then. The ships that were here were sold out and Royal made a major announcement that they are bringing the massive Wonder of The Seas to Miami in 2025 to do short sailings. Big change there as no one usually uses their new large ships for this. But I agree "game changer" sure is a marketing spin!
  16. Looking forward to seeing what is game changing for those of us who live in the area. maybe a ship being here all year round and doing 3/4 day sailings?
  17. Are you in the US or outside of the US? It's not something that pops up here in the US as far as I can see.
  18. Glad you got your answers and happy to close for you.
  19. Since it's post cruise and you will be off the ship early, I would suggest the Brickell area. There are plenty of things to do, things to walk to and lots of restaurants. It's close to the port as you know and a short ride to the airport. I wouldn't suggest staying near the airport because there is nothing to do out there. Hampton inn Brickell is a great hotel as others have suggested and there are plenty of others in the immediate area that are also fantastic. Hotels that have great pools as well. It will all depend on what price point you want to stay at since you can go from the prices of the Mandarin Oriental and Four Seasons to much lower.
  20. I went and looked at my Enchantment sailing that's in a few weeks and O'Malley's doesn't show up as a choice for booking so maybe it is a glitch for the Sun.
