  1. For 1 & 2, I think a lot would say “it depends”. 1 depends on distance, 2 do you want do explore out the country at all and again distance; flying from the east coast to Europe isn’t that bad, yet flying to Singapore or even to Australia from anywhere in the US is pretty brutal and it would be wise to book an extra night to get acclimated to the new time zone
  2. How did you obtain this OBC, simply part of the offer when you booked the paid sailing or (this is all I can think of) part of the stock holder benefit? Fully comped sailings aren’t eligible for the stock holder OBC
  3. They’re fundamentally different, on RCI you get free room offers based on your current sailing play as you generally receive a free room offer on the last night. That offer has a code and you have months for the offer to expire X seems decades behind, you don’t receive your tier points until a few days after the sailing ends for table games. That means you cannot utilize your current sailings play to book a BCC sailing with Future cruises
  4. Wouldn’t “red or white?” be a far more interesting and relevant question to ask (rhetorical)?
  5. Just trying to help ya, you should have mentioned “in Bermuda or Charleston” in your title to attract those who have been there. Reportedly, in Bermuda during an overnight they can open at 9pm
  6. While playing at the casino, they’ll only comp drinks from the classic package, not the premium package
  7. In her defense, X is creating the most culinary buzz of all the cruise lines…She never claimed in any way that they’re the GOOD tasting culinary brand 🤣
  8. “Go Green 2.0, we’re not just eliminating food waste, we’re eliminating actual food!”
  9. Take a peak at the classic drink package because if you order a premium drink they usually don’t tell you. It’s been a while since I’ve made this mistake but when I did they charged me for whole amount, not the discounted amount If you care about drinks more than play, sit at a penny slot machine by the bar because the servers have to walk by you
  10. They should just partner with a weight loss company like weight watchers…”We guarantee you will lose a pound a day on this sailing because we simply won’t feed you more than your daily ration of 300 calories”
  11. Around six months ago they seemed to have greatly increased the playing requirements for all sailings except they kept requirements the same/low for the Mexican Riviera and Puerto Rico sailings. If you qualify for a comped Mex Riv/PR sailing six months ago you most likely would have qualified for most X sailings
  12. Perhaps someone who recently had it can share their experience. Pre pandemic it was buffet style. The real downside is the ship will probably be moving and therefore there will be wind; sometimes it’ll be very strong
  13. If only there were cruise awards for the "most decliniung food quality"
  14. There isn't many who LOVE THEM, in a way, the Mast Grill burger patties are like thanksgiving turkey, an often dry and near-flavorless "delivery vehicle" for toppings. If they made a ̶d̶e̶c̶e̶n̶t̶ better burger maybe more folks would eat one during the day and therefore eat less for dinner saving X some $$$ They do have the lawn club grill on a few ships but I believe they charge $25 + 18% for lunch and therefore many think that's too steep. Many mid-top tier steakhouses which often use actual steak trimmings charge less than $25. You could go to any US supermarket, buy the cheapest refrigerated 80/20 ground beef usually $4-$5/lb, (one dollar per patty at full retail pricing) put nothing more than salt on it and it would be superior to the one served at mast grill
  15. He does compare it to Guys burgers. If we want to analyze what he said, word for word, we would need conclude that EVERYONE at celebrity cannot make a good burger, which is incorrect. The Luminae burger is only offered for 90mins during lunch (perhaps you can ask for it at dinner) but from 2pm-6pm, the mast grill, a few buffet items like pizza and RS are your only options. He also had access to Blu's veggie burger and it's a safe bet that he never tried that one
  16. There's only one thing I've said is awful and two things inedible, the hot dog is both awful and inedible. Most times I've ordered the NY Strip medium rare in recent times it been so tough and chewy it just isn't worth chewing effort. Burgers are below average, not worth the calories
  17. If you have enough play or the current offer you booked the original sailing hasn’t expired (they generally expire in a week) you can make changes. However once the offer is expired or if you do not have enough play you can no longer just “swap”
  18. Should be a show like REVERSE undercover bosses…On her next sailing she gets told her suites was having maintenance issues and she has no choice to move into an IV and eat with the peasants like me…Want specialty dining reservations? Once on board those are for suite guests unless you’re okay with 930pm on the last night
  19. LLP and all Execs should be served all of X’s complimentary food for a week
  20. They won’t charge for luggage as their competition is land resorts. I could see them capping it to say two checked bag for free on a 7 night (more or less based on sailing duration) and third does cost $$$ unless you have status
  21. No, as the game you play is a factor. It also depends if you’re rated correctly. So with blackjack, if you play $25/hand for an hour, that’s what you’re rating on. If you are playing solo for that hour you’ll play a lot more hands than if you with a full table
  22. Was on her in October, what do you want to know? Can’t remember the host and didn’t ever see the casino manager but there’s a good chance not still on the Millie and they’re back home doing some R&R between contracts
  23. It makes logical sense to simply reduce the gambling requirements to those who had descent play on their last sailing. What they did was offer it to pax who have been on many X sailing without ever gambling. We have to remember these offers do not have any playing requirements. So if a non-gambler booked on this offer doesn’t, you know, gamble, X won’t send you a bill for the free room
  24. They’ve increased a bit over the past year, internet & Wi-Fi including the upgrades cost and specialty dining. Not sure how the following played into the quarter but they had the cyber Monday sale for already booked cruises. Several things were 33% off, from a Iceland $743 tour to the Wi-Fi upgrade voucher. Speaking of the Wi-Fi voucher, they had a infamous glitch on most sailings you paid $9.99 per sailing and not per night which was later corrected. Guessing X unexpectedly received a boatload (sorry, had to) of orders for the upgrade voucher. Despite it being deeply discounted and only $10 a pop, that’s still pure revenue
