  1. FYI, 7 nights or more (like your 8 nighter) has spiny lobster usually on the last Chic night
  2. From their homepage, under the "Custom Search" header, select "more search options", the 8th field down defaults to "cheapest overall rates", you can change to cheapest OV, balcony or suite. Once you pick what you want, switch the 9th field to "single occupancy pricing" which will list the single supp. %
  3. It took me about a minute to go to a TA site I won't mention, set the filters to single occupancy, X sailings through August, copy all, paste values only into a spreadsheet and sort...
  4. 99.9999% nothing bad happens, but if it did, what would be the most likely scenario? Why go to Labadee to deal with hostages potentially for days, while you wait for a payment that that might not even come (a sniper could kill you)? They'd probably storm the ship which has lots of money, jewelry, luxury goods, and personal electronics on board
  5. They may be hesitant to give a written report because they don't want to put in writing the bad chemicals which would make it more likely for the passengers to win a court case if they sued
  6. The first thing that should have been done was for the OP to take a video of the bathroom, ideally with the "junk" being on the hubby's face. So many things get swept under the rug until a video gets released, only then do companies take action
  7. Starlink Internet, E-Muster, and decreased food quality
  8. I'm sure the following is based on how booked they are but on multiple sailings, on sea days, they'll set up a massage chair (upright) during lunchtime and give free short massages. Obviously, they're going to try to talk you into booking. Also on the day of embarkation, they offer the same short massages yet there can be a line of people
  9. Yes. In my experience the rooms are usually ready even if you board with the first wave. Maybe mid-high end suites are different. I could also be completely clean but someone needs to vacuum it
  10. Don't worry, there will be a new tipping thread created next week, the week after, etc...
  11. There is an option to eat before boarding the ship or (a lot of people don't know this), if you're a US citizen and boarding in the US, you can usually board the ship, drop off your bags, and walk off the ship Cruising is about making memories, having an MDR lunch most likely won't be as memorable as eating at a local restaurant
  12. Don't you book your own flights? Are you saying your original flights were canceled?
  13. I joined the luggage tag club about a year ago, well worth the $5 I spent for them. Despite using a tape gun before, about a 25% chance the tag would still rip off leading us to find where the taggless luggage usually by guest services
  14. When you're on hold with Celebrity, you'll hear the embellishment "We have the best photographers in the world" yet X doesn't dare try to say they have "fine dining"
  15. If you park yourself at the seating by guest services on the last afternoon/evening, you'd be surprised how many remove the tips just for the reason you stated, so the stateroom attendant wouldn't know. It's also possible they remove the auto-tips and leave a $5 for the attendant on the final morning Disclaimer, we have never removed tips on any X sailings and generally give the stateroom attendant a $20 (more if longer than 8 nights) upon meeting them
  16. That's if you can get a table that's by the window
  17. Do you mind expanding on this, were they told to change at the host stand or after they sat down?
  18. The menu is listed on Celebrity's website yet no idea how accurate it is
  19. It's only a matter of time before they start charging for it 😞
  20. They had it last May. One thing I wanted to point out, to my surprise, we only ate dinner there and there was no limit at all to what you could order
  21. Exactly, now back to more serious topics like...Lobster!
  22. We've got at least 4 instances as the MDR embarkation lunch comes with the Premium Access package. Does NOT come with casino/BCC status. Can anyone find a 5th instance?
  23. There's only one correct answer, which is: "Who cares! When are you going to upgrade the inferior spiny lobster for the superior Maine lobster that both Royal Caribbean and Carnival are currently serving?"
