  1. One of the changes are on deck 6. Most Sky Suites (S1) becoming Aqua Sky Suites (AS). Sky Suites (S2) becoming Sky Suite (S1).
  2. On Eclipse check out the Spa Café deck 12 forward. https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/eat-and-drink/restaurants-and-cafes/aquaspa-cafe
  3. 1st you need a good TA. It is my understanding the E Class family suites (sky suite and inside or sky suite with balcony) need to be linked together and booked together on the same credit card. Also get the information in writing from Celebrity.
  4. While we have not invited non suite guest to Luminae, our nephew was invited. When it comes to Blu. I have not heard of guests to being invited by a Aqua Class guest. Suite guest my use Blu on space available really comes down to the Maitre d. This is one of Celebrity's problem. Celebrity is consistent with being inconsistent. Another issue has been unable to order off the MDR menu in Blu or Luminae on the M and S Class ship. Just because the Maitre d said no.
  5. We sailed on Millie twice in Asia 2016 and 2017. I would book Solstice 6 Feb 2025. If you want to see Bangkok you should overnight in town. I'm not sure why the March 2025 sailing cost less.
  6. Overall I would say Millie. I like Millie for cold weather locations and Asia. Solstice for the Caribbean and the Med. Yes we did sail on Edge. Not for me, we were in a suite.
  7. We have over 30 cruises with Celebrity. We have done 4 cruises on Celebrity since fall of 2021. We were in Aqua or Suites. Both cruises in Aqua were great. Our Sep 2022 cruise we were in a suite. My thoughts on Luminae was that I must be cruising in suites to much. The food just is not as good as last June on Millie. I did get a very nice one inch thick Prime Rib and it was great. I informed our TA that we were canceling our South American cruise for April. I got a final notice the other day for our May cruise. I informed our TA we were canceling May and Dec cruises. We are keeping our Sep 2023 cruise. It is a cruise we have not done before. It just does not seem like a good time to cruise. We had done the SA cruise before. Same with our New England cruise in May. Our Dec cruise is LA to Chile. What we were doing instead. January we did a land vacation to an inclusive resorts in Playacar, Mexico. April going to Las Vegas to see Patti LuPone. June to see friends living in Turks and Caicos. Dec we will visit friends in England for Christmas. I'm hoping 2024 will be a better year for Celebrity.
  8. It was a number of year ago I had meatloaf in Blu. It was just horrible. It looked like the cat food that comes in a small round can. I think it was a knockoff of Kobe beef.
  9. We sailed last June on Millie Seward to Vancouver BC. I rented a car for the 4 of us. We stayed 2 nights in Seward before boarding Millie. One way car rental added $250 to the cost. You have 3 options. Car rental, bus or train. Celebrity should have a train transfer that ends downtown Anchorage.
  10. We did 2 Alaska cruises last year. I dont remember casino hours being any different than other cruises.
  11. We had 4 Celebrity cruises booked for this year all in suites. I canceled our South American cruise to go to Playacar, Mexico instead. We had a great time. Over the years we have done many cruises with Celebrity. I cruise more for ship and food than where the ship is going. We have now decided to cancel 2 more Celebrity cruises booked for this year. We will only do 1 cruise this year in Sept. We are now going to England for Christmas. We want to do the Christmas Markets and a pantomime. I want to give Celebrity time decide what type of cruiseline they want to be.
  12. The train is running again between Seattle and Vancouver. You can take Quick Shuttle service from SeaTac airport. Traffic on i5 can get bad between Seattle and Vancouver BC. The Bellingham, WA airport is closer to Vancouver. Seattle to Vancouver takes me normally about 3 hours.
  13. I think the Hôtel Mövenpick Amsterdam City Centre is the closest. We stay at Max Brown Hotel not that far away. Small hotel on a canal with no elevator. We walked it with luggage.
  14. We have a 12:30 flight and getting to the airport was not bad. I have been on may flights all over the world. My worst flights ever were in and out of BCN. Flying in we had to aboard landing because an aircraft was on our runway. Flying out of BCN we waited over a hour on the tarmac waiting to take off.
  15. We did the Southbound last June. Their were 4 of us. I rented a car and stopped at Alyeska Resort Aerial Tramway on our way to Seward. The next day we did a excursion out of Seward to see whales, glacier and wildlife. Our hotel was near Alaska SeaLife Center. After breakfast on the morning of the cruise we went to Alaska SeaLife Center . Then took the free bus outside the center to the cruise terminal. We tip the driver because of luggage. Sunset in Alaska.
  16. Millie would be my 1st choice. Eclipse 2nd. Alaska out of Seattle is my least favorite.
  17. After your sailing on Wonder and really like it. I would say Beyond is a better fit for you. Connie might be a little too quiet.
  18. DH has dietary restrictions and needs/should to eat smaller meals more often. He will normally go to the OC at 3pm and bring snacks back to the suite. Also after dinner he goes to the OC to get snacks for 9pm. We will see how things go in May. Might just have to use the butler more.
  19. Yes if your upgrade to a Sky or Celebrity suite. If you upgrade to Royal or above. There are items that do come with the suite. You need to look at what comes with the suite. Royal Suite: Exclusive services and amenities Complimentary bottled water, soda, and beer stocked daily Unlimited lunch and dinner in all specialty restaurants Two complimentary bottles of premium spirits VIP canapés Complimentary laundry service (twice per cruise) Priority luggage delivery The above is from Celebrity website. I thought premium drinks, premium Wi-Fi came with RS. Has things changed?
  20. I just checked our Summit May 25 sailing and only Ocean view and Inside cabins left.
  21. We also tried smaller ship, Azamara once. We book it for where it went. The smaller ship was boring. I dont like the dresscode on other smaller ships. Mostly book suites. I canceled our South American cruise for April. We are keeping our Summit cruise for May. After our May cruise I will decide if we should cancel our Sept or Dec cruises.
