First time for us. We got the email and a link on our 2 cabin booking page online. We originally booked these TBA balcony cabins over a year ago at a ‘free’ casino rate. I thought that the chance to get an upsell would in no way happen. Noted it was almost sold out too. They were assigned at 2mo out from sail date as 2 cove balconies, 24 doors apart with one directly under the galley. Bummer! Then we got the offer. Approx a month out from sail date. We were able to get side by side adjoining cabins on forward deck 9 for $42 per cabin. We are so happy with this upsell. Now I’m worried the 1X Royal cruiser who is new to Carnival will be disappointed due to all the cutbacks lately. Oh well, we are adjoining & have Cheers! Should be a good time! Hope the Dream restocked the Champagne and Patron after Megan debarked! 😉 🥂

We are in the always tip a buck extra per drink crowd. Whether it’s ‘free’ in casino, cheers or paid for; and we get great bar service.

This is disturbing. Anybody else ever have an occasion when you drink for hours and nothing happens? DH and I and some friends have had that happen a couple of times in our life, but a whole cruise? Naw. We have cheers next month and we’ll be watching how our drinks get made when possible.

It had a great menu when it started, now it’s just meh. It’s hours were also cut so Brunch nearly no longer applies.

We use a weekly pill organizer, 2 actually. And have a pic of the bottles lined up. Never been asked anything about them.

All this Captain Ricky butt stuff reminds me of an Eddie Murphy bit from the mid 80’s. It was all about his butt, this whole show. LOL 😆

Hands down, your photographs are the best! I love the close-up shots so we can actually see things. Thanks so much for your review. The Breeze is the only ship we’ve sailed on twice. She’s great!

24 Hour stores in Miami. Been there done that. Hopefully one is near your hotel. You could always pick it up in the am before boarding.

Yuck and Boo. Again. Cutback # ? Been so many that I’ve lost count. Guess I’ll never try the donut sandwich or the pineapple/ham pizza - favorite pizza. No BLT. Ugh … We’ll see in Nov how this shakes out but we are not impressed or happy with their decisions since re-start. Yes, yeah yeah…blah blah blah COVID. Pretty sure we’ll be moving on. It’s just gone downhill too far.

Way Bigger pools or more of them, and more hot tubs. Bigger comedy club, 24 hour cafe, bring the food back to the quality is was a dozen years ago, more dessert options in MDR again. Better staff to passenger ratio. Remember when they had time to say hello and seemed happy…now they’re sweating, hurried and not as enthusiastic, feels and seems odd to us.

We like them because they are a bit bigger than a reg balcony. They are more private. Have seen dolphins and flying fish. Many birds too, which was kind of surprising Very handy for port days. 1 flight down in am and 1 flight up upon return, we really liked that. Have 2 booked on the Dream in 67 days. 🚢 🚿 🚿

Have only smelled it once. Didn’t care. Still don’t. Would love to legally do so, but alas, they prefer drunks over “altered” peeps. My mother in law used to say, I suppose you were out there getting altered?! Why do you do that? We’d say, want to try it? She’d say no and we’d say, then you’ll never know why! Agree that edibles are the only way to fly. Still not on a cruise, the consequences could be massive. Ask Brittney (Fool) Griner. Sheeeezzzzz

We watched football playoffs on the big screen at sunset & night hours. This was on the Valor. BEST FOOTBALL viewing ever….except we lost,,,that part was brutal. LOL

The Twister boat is very fun! ,The beach we went to was Passion Island. Beautiful , (Corona ads are filmed here) good food & drinks, very clean bathrooms. We’d do it again, but there is so much to do in Cozumel.

That coffee card issue is really unbelievable. I’d push on that. It’s the principal of it, not a free coffee. Glad you found a quiet spot for your studies!

Must have missed this in March. Thank you for posting your review and sharing your adventure. My brother was paralyzed 2 hrs ago and your information was helpful. He has worked very hard and can transfer his 6’4” self very well. It seems so daunting to think of, but I feel more confident now. 😃

Just got to add that todays new cuts seem to have tipped the scales for a few. It’s like this for us, Carnival was a moderate like a fairly decent hotel chain. Carnival seems hell bent on being a Motel 6 or Super 8. And not a nice shiny new 6 or 8, at that.

Another cutback, another PIA. The way they word their cutback bs makes it sound like this is what passengers want. They obviously think we are ALL idiots. The room service trays in the hall have food on them because, as stated above, the food was not good! The $ breakfast items were worse than awful! We enjoy a BLT or other sandwich from room service for lunch, snack or dinner sometimes. Only source of potato chips. The veggies & dip have really been missed by us. The buffet the last 2 cruises was horrible. The MDR food items are now Barbie doll size servings. Yeah, we’re moving on. What Carnival has left now is nothing like it was 12 years ago. Nothing special, nothing unique, nothing for us to entice others to join us. We’ll pay more for a better experience. Thanks …… Poof ……

Been offered champagne & wine at spa/salon. Usually a very luxurious or nice resort type of spa/salon
