Lots to do in Miami. We’ve taken a boat tour around the area a couple of times, There’s a fun small bus tour that takes you to several Miami neighborhoods with a stop in little Havana, we bought yummy food & drinks there. Cigars and baked goods also. There’s a twister boat tour. There’s an electric boat tour/rental to explore the area waters. The Big Bus tour was nice. We took 2-3 different loops available. South Beach has Great beaches, restaurants and shops galore. We did the “duck” tour from SB. Fun times! Check the owl travel site under Miami things to do. Something for everyone. We had hotel pickup and some out of Bayside Marketplace. No issues there. Enjoy.

On our 1st cruise, it was out of Tampa in 2010 on the Carnival Legend, the moment we stepped onto the ship. We looked left, right and up then looked at each other and then we simultaneously said, “Oh, heck yeah!” We knew it was so us and we’re sad we didn’t find ‘our jam’ sooner! Forever Dreaming of Floating……

Yeah, 3rd world problem, but hey, I get it. You want the proper drink that you’re paying for. The actual ingredients are gin, simple syrup, lemon juice, club soda & {yes} a cherry. Some wrap a lemon slice around the cherry before garnishing the drink. My guess is Carnivals bartender training is mostly making their fru fru drinks. With minimal training on anything more than rum & coke after that. A proper bartender would be well versed in basic drinks such as a Tom Collins or a Old Fashioned.

Thank you for posting your observations. More disappointment with HMC for sure.

For some people it’s a waste of paper. For others, like us, we like the paper much better. Screen scrolling to find stuff is a pain and annoying. When spending money for a trip, we don’t want annoying to be a part of the experience. To each their own though. Maybe an opt in or out with the steward would save some waste.

a black t-shirt with 4 white huge letters, probably 6” x 4”. That blatant of a display should be reported by the staff. They all saw it and said nothing. Oh yeah, it said me or you underneath it in tiny letters, I don’t recall which but either way. Classless.

On our last cruise, a guy wore a t-shirt with THE 4 letter word spelled out in huge letters. Not only did he wear it day 2, he lacks real intelligence and also wore it day 5. Obviously, no one said a word to the Neanderthal. Good heavens…. It was also my 6 yr old Ggirls 1st cruise. I was pretty disappointed he chose to wear it and the staff did nothing about.

My winter neighbor and her daughter just got back from a Holland America 7 day “free inside” offer from a casino in Wendover. Idk which one tho. It was the 1st cruise for both of them so I had lots of fun conversations with them for weeks. Lol

This topic has been talked to death on CC. Again? Sheeezzz A) illegal with consequences on ships - feeling lucky? Fools… B) Never heard of or seen Cannabis users in fights or brawls. Been around them for 48 years. Lol Actually, have never seen a fight or brawl on any ship. C) Many, many high earning successful people smoke, eat, and or vape Cannabis. D) Mind your own snoot, y’all. 🙄

Celebration - Premium View Extended Balcony Cabin — Info/Advice Please? I see these are available both front and rear facing. Front Facing would be a great view but too windy to use most of time, I’d think? Rear facing it looks like the middle ones are curved in towards the ship, so can the outside balconies see into them? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Should I raise my hand to be excused for a lavatory visit as well? If this is truly from the new cheap Carnival book, it’s gone too far. ‘My parents are deceased and I don’t vacation to be treated like a little kid. ‘Beyond ridiculous. The servings are way shrink already, now this ? Really??? YGTBKM.

I’d love to really try this, but honestly, my husband would surely have a heart attack! ☺️

Spirit Class. The Deck 4 Vista suite Aft Wraps are my favorite hands down. So relaxing, you really can wind down back there. You can actually move freely in those cabins & on the balcony. We Have a Miracle Aft Wrap booked for next year. We like the smaller size but would love a few more food options.

Ditto. Haggled for a very nice watch. Got it down maybe 25%. I’m a lucky girl in that my hubs has always looked at jewelry as investments. It doesn’t depreciate. It goes up. Our later retirement years are probably in a jewelry box. Lol.
