    When I was in the Coast Guard in the 70s, we would buy king crab in Dutch Harbor for 50 cents a pound. Always came home with a 50 lb. block of legs and claws for $25.

    Just off Crown, no mention of this in Reserve Class. The normal up charges for filets and lobster were on the menu every night but never saw anyone order them.

    Just back from our b2b on Crown, received the correct black medallions in early April. There were hundreds of white medallions on both cruises.

    This pretty much the norm and based on my own experience it is always dangerous and sometimes frightening.

    Currently on Crown Princess, selection has been very limited. Silverado cab was our go to last week, this week there is no more on board. Vines on Crown is a joke. If you can get a seat (all taken by non-wine drinkers) there is nothing special and service is terrible. The martinis have been great.😋

    Wow, we have never seen a party for just suite guests, including Caribbean Princess last year.

    Royal class ships cannot do the entire inside passage due to their size. Many people think that is the best part of the trip.

    Currently on Crown ( turn around day on a b2b), no problems. The ship is not new but everything is just fine. I would much rather go to Alaska on the Crown than one of the Royal class ships.

    Princess clearly states it's standards for dress. Princess has not lowered those standards but a FEW cruisers have lowered theirs.

    We have the same situation but I was able to book specialty dining on both cruises without any problem. So apparently the app knows we have Premier but just isn't showing it.

    I sent an email to Lorna Warren about a problem we could not get resolved. I was contacted by someone in her office 2 days later. The problem was solved immediately and they apologized for the incompetence of the people answering calls.

    Alaska cruises are a great first cruise. The biggest problem with doing it on a Royal class ship is that they don't do a complete inside passage.

    It's a multifunction device that detects sewage odors, extreme theater volume, chair hogs, and bad coffee.

    I've been sailing Princess for over 20 years, I wasn't surprised. I pay full fare for the cabin I want and don't take a chance just to get a $100 discount.
