Our go to Premier wine on Royal was Silverado cab until the ship ran out. We then went with Caymus cab at an additional $8.00 per glass. All the other cabs were plonk.

Our luggage is always near the 70lb airline limit and we have never had a problem anywhere including UK (Southhampton and Dover).

When we arrived in Vancouver last month, the ship provided declaration forms that where collected by an agent in the terminal as we walked by. That was it.

This cruise boards on day 1, overnights and then departs on the evening of day 2. Yes you will be allowed to board and go to your cabin whenever you arrive. The ship will know your flight times and will be expecting you. If you have a Princess transfer to the ship and there is no one there to greet you simply take a cab and get a receipt, you will be reimbursed. It is a shame that people answering the phones for Princess don't have a clue. That goes for some people on these boards too.

We did April and May cruises on Crown and I have to agree that they were the worst we have ever experienced. There is nothing subjective about bad.

I think you are confusing the concierge lounge and the Platinum, Elite, and suite lounge. They are two different things. The concierge lounge is only for full suite passengers and is available twenty four hours a day. The PES lounge is for those eligible guests and is typically open from 5pm to 7pm. The concierge lounge is only on Royal class ships.

I am so happy to read how many people don't go to the PES lounge because they don't like the food or the drink special or because it is boring. We tend go every night, especially if it is in Skywalkers. It is a calm, relaxed place to have our martinis before dinner. The food is not meant to be dinner but something to go along with your cocktail and, now that tapas in Vines is nonexistent and the olive boat in Crooners is history, it is the only civilized place to have a nibble. So again, I'm happy that people are staying away.

We do this as soon as the casino opens and then never go back. Better to have the cash in your own pocket. We actually use it for tips to servers and steward.

After our visit to Russia a few years ago, I'm pretty sure that "tasty Russian treat" is an oxymoron.😁

Don't know what an "unwashed noob" is but even Princess says that "newbies" get blue medallions so I can understand the question about white medallions .

With the majority of people wearing the medallions around their necks it is not difficult to spot something different. If you are not curious when you see something different, then I guess you are right, you just do not get it.

And some just have to look for the negative side of everything.
