HaHa...you are correct to use Cape Canaveral...my bad senior moment to post Port Canaveral.

On Liberty out of Cape Liberty this past October there was a suite luggage drop off designated area in front of the terminal. Our luggage was at our cabin very quickly when the cabins were available. We had gotten an email from the SL Concierge (Jayson) telling us of this new perk. Hoping they offer this at other terminals...it was nice.

Are you doing MCO as a pick up and return to Port Canaveral? So returning the car to a different location. This should be an option...it is on the Costco website as I'm sure it should be directly with each rental company.

You could book with a private shuttle company like Cruise Control or rent a car. If you're a Costco member they have some great rates from MCO to Port Canaveral. Budget offered a shuttle to the port.

So perhaps as we get closer I can get my answer. Doesn't make a difference to me but my grandsons just love Capt. Johnny....and are hoping to sail with him again.

I do a lot of research and usually book my flights for my cruises a month or two after those flights become available. You should start looking now to get an idea...actually I would have started sooner...JMHO. Best of luck. Also I book my cruises when that schedule comes out to get the possible best price, itinerary and cabin.

I have been booking all my own travel (cruises, flights ,hotels etc.) for years and we travel often. I will continue to. Just my personal choice.

Try the Hampton Blue Lagoon. They offer a free shuttle from MIA to their hotel. They might offer a pay shuttle from hotel to POM...check directly with them. I completely understanding being old school.

We usually have the taxi drop us off at Walmart (right across the street from the port terminal) as we return...much easier than going there first.

If you're a Costco member try their Kirkland brand....much better than any we've found in Mexico.

Take a shuttle or taxi from the port terminal to the Malecon...several restaurants along this area.

Thanks for your post. We've been on Explorer a few times and will be on her again Feb 23, 2024 for an amazing 9 night itinerary. Also again March 2025 for her 11 nighter another amazing itinerary.

No....but a small gratuity is nice.

We did a great tour with Tours By Locals...Check your roll call you may be able to join in an excursion with other's on your cruise.

Try South Florida Shuttles...We've had great service from them and they will provide the type of carseats as needed.

We've sailed this RCI itinerary often out of San Juan and have usually boarded around 10:30-11:00am.

Always the #1320 for us.

I would take the early flight. Besides taxi's there are shuttle bus's lined up just outside the terminal door. They hold big signs...$10.00pp cash and we were one of the first to hop on and it filled up amazingly fast and we were on our way to TPA. Even the shuttles behind this one were filling up fast. We did self assist and it couldn't have been easier off RCI Serenade. No way would I want to wait until a 5 pm flight.

For the small purchases we make it's just easier to use US$'s.

Our October 2023: LAX-EWR...EWR-ATL...ATL-LAX...easy first class flights...no problems.

Love the OS on Navigator...we have a definite favorite...that we sail in.

Hmmm...Why would this be on only Allure. We've had no trouble recently on Navigator, Explorer, Harmony, Jewel, Serenade and Liberty.
