I am used to cruising HAL and they have pool towels placed around the ship for use and beach towels in every room. I can grab as many pool towels as I need and easily grab dry towels when required How does celebrity handle pool and beach towels?

I didn't see anything and just happened to walk by.

I am on the eurodam right now and they did it today in the lido. I got there towards the end, but they originally had 11 different cake flavors. I had the vegan chocolate cake(fyi I am not vegan) and it was one of the best desserts that I have had onboard HAL. Certainly the best cake I have had on board.

I have done this many times. I find rooms I like and my pcc or the booking agent will get ship inventory to adjust the room availability. I have even had them release the room I wanted from the next 21 day cruise after mine (2 cruises b2b) so I could have it for 21 days on a cruise earlier

There may not be cruise line protocols, but it is not up to them. Any country can change their rules when they want and the ships have to comply. If a country changes their vaccine requirement, I would want to have mine with me. It's a pretty easy thing to take with you.

There used to be a 50% discount on Nami but as of Nov 2022, they told me there was no longer a discount. That was on the rotterdam. I was also on the koningsdam aug 2023 and the 50% was NOT applied to Nami, only tamarind

They had it on the koningsdam last week. But....I would put yourself in bb kings or wherever they go to first on your ship if you hope to participate. We were in the rock room and I counted 10-15 pieces of dessert that came into the rock room/piano bar area by 2 servers and that was it..very different from years past where most people got to try at least 2 or 3 treats from the numerous servers who made their way around all of music walk.

Has anyone been on the eurodam lately? I have almost solely cruised on koningsdam and rotterdam over the past 5 years. I am very used to music walk so just wondering if someone can tell me what type of music entertainment is on the eurodam. I see bb kings and the piano bar but wondering what happens in the ocean bar. Any other bands or a rock room type band?

I don't find the piped in music overly noisy when looking for a place to go for a conversation with friends so my suggestions would be: Crows nest, pool area if there is no movie, Dutch Cafe(closes at 8 or 9 but seating areas are available), bar/lounge area across from Rudy's (lots of people seem to hang out here and visit or play games), tables beside club orange if after dinner, tables in the lido on the side that is not preparing to open for late night buffet

You will need permission from the cruise line to disembark at a port if it is not the normal disembarkation port. They have to arrange for immigration or whatever that country requires if a passenger is getting off and staying off.

I just got a casino special pricing offer. Not the % off but a list of cruises with special prices ($549, $299 etc) the email was sent to me and had my name and mariner number on it. There was no campaign or promo code on the email so reservations could not honor the pricing. I sent an email to holland america as directed, but never got a response.

I would call reservations to add HIA to your booking. (Or your travel agent)

I am on a different type of discounted rate for a 7 day alaska cruise. The room that is booked under the online "normal price" gave me the ability to add HIS but the room under the "discounted fare" didn't show an option for HIA online. I called ship services and they couldn't add it either. They sent me to reservations and they were able to add it to the booking. They added the total cost ($65 cad per day x7 days) of the package onto the fare.

Any idea how long they are on the ship for? I cruise Aug 19

What time can I expect early dining to be on the koningsdam in Alaska? I normally do late dining but have family coming this trip so I have never checked the early dining times.

Hey, I am curious what is considered a dance band on holland. I was on the rotterdam in December and they had bb kings, Lincoln center, rock room and 2 piano playes. The house band on princess was a group that did hits from the 50's/60's all the way to current music. Is this the type of band you are talking about?

Got on the carribean princess the cruise after they had noro issues on board the previous voyage. A few days before the cruise, we got an email saying boarding is delayed and will not start until 1pm and to not come to the terminal before that. This was to accommodate a deep clean of the ship. Upon boarding, there were buffet attendants at the entry points to the buffet getting everyone to wash their hands. Servers were serving everyone from the buffet as opposed to self serve items. No bread, butter or salt and pepper at tables and no sharing tables. They kept these protocols for 3 or 5 days (can't remember exactly) and because cases stayed low, they started loosening up on all of the extra precautions.

I don't think it is unreasonable to allow guests who pay $39 for a meal to order 4 courses for dinner. Just change the printing of the menus to have 4 distinct categories and you can have 1 from each included and you pay extra if you double up in any category. Soup/salad Appetizers Entrées Dessert It would be very little extra food cost for a small salad or soup and make people feel like they were getting better value for their money.

Depends on your itinerary. For example, in Dec 2022, vaccines were not required for carribean cruises, but you couldn't get off in grand turk if you were not vaccinated. Each country has their own requirements.

I do not find the pinnacle ships boring, but maybe I just make the best of what is offered. On the musicians nights off, there is usually some sort of music trivia or games in one of the venues. The rock room band on NS in February was really good so I spent a lot of time in there. If someone finds it too loud, a suggestion is to sit in the billboard lounge so you can hear the music, but also enjoy each other's company. If I don't care for the billboard entertainers, I will normally sit in the rock room during their set and read a book or play cards. It is nice to still be out and about, but not have go participate fully in the show. -BBC earth in the theatre is really good -there is usually some sort of comedian on board. They play in the theater or sometimes in bb kings venue -crows nest is a very beautiful and quiet space at night. Games, puzzles, reading with drinks or coffee make for a relaxing night -orange party in bb kings venue. They serve some appies, people wear orange clothing or accessories and the dance floor is pretty busy that evening which is fun if you like that sort of thing

No one really knows. I gambled on a few cruises almost 10 yrs ago. Not crazy, but maybe lost $1000 over the course of 2 yrs. I stopped going to the casino and have been getting offers for free cruises and discounts ever since. I have done 2 free cruises (Alaska and 10 day carribean) and multiple 30% off deals .(Approx) I haven't been in the casino since so I figured the offers would stop coming once they saw that the freebies are not enticing me to gamble...but I am happy to still be saving $$

If you are taking an uber, you can add walgreens as a stop before you go to your ship and they will wait for you if it is a quick stop. I usually tell them I will be 15 min and give them $10 or $15 cash (you are not required to do this but they are happier to do it when I give them cash) You may be able to do this with a taxi as well but I would agree on an amount ahead of time.

If you don't get an answer on here, you can phone HAL and the agents have a department to call to figure it out. I asked once and my agent found out that the blank space above me was the pool filtration system.
