  1. Yes, I am on Wonder TA out of Barcelona. The cruise line only recommends booster, but Spain requires it since I am over the 270 days. Of course, Royal does not mention that. I have to go directly to a Spain website for their requirements.
  2. The cruise line recommends. I think it depends on what the country requires.
  3. So you donā€™t need to have your last shot within 270 days to enter Italy? Iā€™m leaving from Barcelona and will need to get a booster to enter Spain, since Iā€™m 270 days over my last vax. Iā€™m not boosted either, but if I need it to enter Spain, Iā€™m waiting for new one to come out.
  4. All at once. Once you log on the first time, it counts 24hrs from then.
  5. Iā€™m seriously wondering if this was a typo or mistake. We have already made final payment, and many on this sailing have kids. I donā€™t have any, but I would be livid that it changed 2 months before sailing. I would bet Royal is getting a lot of phone calls right now. There are also other TAā€™s besides Wonder.
  6. First, S&S and Surf will always be more expensive on board. There have been threads recently figuring out cost savings if D or D+. You will get one 24 period free, being Diamond. Since your days you need internet will then be 5, count on the ship price being at least $5-7 more per day than pre cruise price. Since you wonā€™t be able to have any access in port, unless you find a wifi spot, do the math. I think the pre cruise price will save you money, but not a lot.
  7. Had the same issue checking for price drops on my Navigation New Years sailing for this year.
  8. I travel solo and love sea days. I have the Wonder TA coming up in Oct., and then also the Ovation 18 night TP in Apr. I did a TP a few years ago, 24 nights with 18 sea days. I like to bring some crochet and cross stitch with me, and normally donā€™t treat sea days any different than a usual day at home. I also load movies, or TV series, and books on my IPad. Sometimes I might go to some trivia games, or other things that interest me. Im not a big crowd person, so having my own entertainment is essential to me.
  9. Are they on your cruise planner, and you canā€™t book them? Usually once they are on cruise planner, you can book. When is your cruise? Sometimes they will load tours several months in advance, and some only a few months. There is really no set time.
  10. I have been on Ovation and love her. Finally, after moving these cruises for 3 years, I will be sailing a B3B on the Ovation, starting Mar27/2023. SP, NZ, and TP. I choose Ovation.
  11. I thought late night clubs were open to 18 and over, but no drinking. When did this change? Itā€™s been a long time since I have been clubbing. @lauraingallsYou didnā€™t say what ship, but some have Boleros which has salsa dancing.
  12. It was painted in April to celebrate the 60th anniversary, and will be celebrated for 6 months. It will probably be a different color if you visit again. šŸ˜‰
  13. Yes we did. We, up here, donā€™t like to many hot, sunny days, especially meā€¦.I was up at 0430, opening everything up from the hot day yesterday šŸ¤Ŗ And we may get some rain today. LOL Have fun on my fave ship. Wonā€™t be back on her until March for a B3B out of Sydney (finally, after moving them for 3 years).
  14. Not really the original, but saying it is, brings the tourists flocking in šŸ˜‰ ā€The first Starbucks store was located in Seattle at 2000 Western Avenue from 1971 to 1976. They later moved the cafĆ© to 1912 Pike Place.[16] During this time, Starbucks stores sold just coffee beans and not drinks.ā€
  15. I looked back on my Roll call and found this, but replace Wonder with Voyager for your ship. Not sure if they will get back to you, since your sailing is close. Worth a try. Wonderevents@rccl.com. provide your name and cabin #, dates you wish to use the Room, Number of people you estimate will be playing & times ( example 10 AM to noon )
  16. Many people call it Left, Right, Center, but the acronym is for Left, Center, Right. Itā€™s a dice game.
  17. I just switched myself, daughters and grandkids to Traditional Early on the Navigator for New Years cruise. I normally travel solo, and donā€™t dine in the MDR, so MTD was always OK, but Iā€™m not messing around with lines and waits with the fam.
  18. I booked it when it came out back in Feb. Carnival has a similar itinerary, around the same time, RT out of Baltimore, but it was double the cost of Royalā€™s. I told friends and they switched over. I did the Arctic one, that others are talking about on this thread, back in 2018, on Serenade, so I have been to Greenland. The Jewel has a couple of new stops.
  19. It has been sold out for quite a while. Every so often a cabin will pop up, but prices have gone up. I would assume there will be more availability when TAā€™s release their held cabins, and after final payment. @DewaldcruiserThis isnā€™t the one OP was asking about. The Sept/2023 is a RT from Cape Liberty.
  20. Since I always have to go to my currency converter for USD prices, I think $59ish USD is about the best you will get.
  21. And itā€™s not just the old having the heart attacksā€¦.just sayin.šŸ˜‰ Some of us oldsters are pretty dang healthy.
  22. And if you donā€™t have any free govt. tests, just order some, or pay for them at the drugstore. https://www.covid.gov/tests/
  23. Nope. For cruises 9 nights or less, excluding Canada and Bermuda, leaving from US ports. Accepted Tests Guests can now take advantage of at-home antigen tests (even unsupervised ones!) to satisfy this requirement. Proof of a negative test can be the printed or digital results, a clear photo of your self-test result, or your actual self-test in hand. To learn more about our accepted tests, visit our FAQ.
