    New website.

I'm not sure if this is happening to everyone, but we found that our amount due was incorrect by the amount of the excursions that we had booked. I contacted AZ on the day that the new website rolled out. When they backed out the excursion amounts (which were all booked with OBC), my amount due is now correct. Since we can't see OBC for our September cruise, I'm hoping that it is correct. It's entirely possible that your OBC will indeed reflect your cancelled excursion - you won't know until they are able to show OBC in the accounts or you are onboard, whichever comes first!
  2. Yes you can (or you used to be able to pre-transition). However, be aware that if the price of the excursion has gone up, you will be charged the higher price.
  3. Yes, you can book an Experience More package onboard and use your OBC. You can only do it once your onboard ... not prior.

    New website.

For anyone whose future cruises have "disappeared", try this. When you log in, click on your initial, then click on "upcoming cruises". If it says that you don't have any, click on your initial again, and click on upcoming cruises again. This seems to work on my account. Yesterday when I went on and got to my reservations, when I clicked on manage reservation I got all of the Java code used - pages of it. Not a good sign. This is definitely a work in progress and they don't seem to be making good or quick progress. If you want a laugh, go into the addons and scroll down. You can add Arthritis, allergies and assorted other fun things at no cost! What a deal.
  5. I honestly don't remember but think that it was the main course that was customized. We have done a number of chef's tables and some of the courses are vegetarian as they are presented. Also, the main course is typically either a meat or a fish. The woman we were with did not like fish so that's why they made something special. If you eat fish, you should be fine. But, rest assured, they do everything they can to make sure that you enjoy it and leave full!
  6. They will accommodate you. We have done the chef's table with a vegetarian before and they customized the meal to suit her. Not a set menu. They asked her about likes/dislikes and then prepared her dishes.
  7. I wondered the same thing. Also the OP seems to indicate this is not the first time this has happened. So, I'm confused.

    New website.

Today I could see invoices for all of our cruises (5). For the most part, they are correct. Each cruise has the amount of the excursions booked listed as being due even though they were purchased with OBC. Once they figure out and update all of the OBC, maybe all invoices will be correct. Our points are wrong as we are missing the points from our Nov. 2022, Jan. 2023 and Jan. 2023 cruises. It would appear that some progress is being made. My husband, who retired from the IT field and used to run migrations and conversions, just keeps shaking his head!

    New website.

My status is correct but my points are not. Luckily I took screenshots of our points before the old website went down. I see very little information about my OBC's and two of my excursions are listed as needing to be paid even though we used OBC to purchase them. Luckily I have the paperwork for that if needed. Hopefully within the next few days/weeks we will see this all settle out. Some things on the new site are a definite improvement but other things seem rather clunky.
  10. Cultural Evenings Experience new cultures with onboard or onshore performances by locals, while enjoying cocktails and light snacks. This is on the guest page when looking at individual cruises. Looks like all of the talk about discontinued Azamazing evenings was premature!

    New to Azamara

Yes, they are very good on all of the ships.
  12. Totally agree with Uktog. We have been using Welcome Pickups everywhere we can find them and have had wonderful experiences. Our experience in Athens, where we used them to get from the airport to our hotel and then from the hotel to the ship, was also stellar.
  13. The 6 course meal with wine pairings is a Chef's table reservation. The other options with the dining packages are meals at Prime C and/or Aqualina. These are not 6 course wine paired meals (although they could be if you try hard enough😀). The Chef's table is only offered on certain evenings over the course of your cruise at a large table at the front of Prime C. You are able to sign up for both the Chef's Tables and the specialty restaurants on embarkation day and they will have a schedule for when the different Chef's tables are offered as well as when White Night and the Azamazing evening will be. Early indications seem to be that when the new website launches later this month you will be able to purchase the packages online. However, it's not clear if you will be able to make reservations ahead of time.
  14. Fever Tree was readily available on Onward when we were on b2b's in January/February. Even had a pink one that I'd never tried.
  15. It depends on where you are going. Some countries still require you to show proof of vaccination - Colombia and Peru for example. If a country that you are going to requires it, then AZ will require you to show proof prior to boarding.
  16. One tour specifically said in the description that it was limited to the first 20 people to book and would be on a minibus. We booked and when we checked in there were 38 people on the tour. They did have 2 tour guides and split us into 2 groups but being on one bus we, of course, had to wait for the last couple to make it to the bus. Also, the museum at the archeological site said on the website that capacity was 15 people at a time and they enforced that meaning that each guide had to split her group in two and take them through separately leaving the rest of the group to wait. We have booked ship's tours before and some were okay and some were exceptional. This cruise had an overwhelming number of poor excursions.
  17. I agree. We got off of the Onward on February 12th after having been on since January 17th. We had a lot of OBC so booked some ship's excursions. Only one was excellent. One was so bad that we demanded our money back. The tour operator had no idea what the excursion was supposed to be and refused to check with their main office when we complained. He ended up telling us that we all "sucked". Most of the others were disappointing - too many people!
  18. It does not apply to "new" bookings. We have booked onboard for the same cruise that we had booked with our travel agent so that we could get the savings. It was worth it even with having to pay the cancellation fee for the first one. However, since your travel agent is the only one who can cancel there has to be some coordination if you want the same cabin. Either you have to cancel your first one and then rebook or you have to book the new one with a different cabin, contact your agent and have them cancel and then they grab the original cabin once it's available again. I know - convoluted! The real problem happens if there is wait list for that specific cabin. Once the reservation is cancelled and that cabin becomes available, it automatically goes to anyone on a wait list. Good luck!!
  19. Totally agree with this. Aga and Raymon were fabulous and part of the reason that we enjoyed the bar as much as we did. I mentioned Fever Tree one night and the next night there it was - even a pink version which I had never had. Also, the people we met there were wonderful and we made many new friends.
  20. Have you logged in to your AZ account? I would think that the whole $1000 should show there as available for booking shore excursions.
  21. I guess that time will tell. The bar was very busy when we on for a month. All senior managers that we spoke with said that the other ships will be getting them. Given the average percentage of passengers that upgrade to the ultimate drink package, there is a customer base that will use it.
  22. We just got off of the Onward on Sunday. We thoroughly enjoyed the Atlas Bar. From what we were told the other ships will get Atlas Bars when they next go into dry dock.
  23. Your Azamazing evening information should be in your shore excursion information along with the ability to sign up for it. As to White Night, you won't find that out ahead of time. They should have a full calendar at the desk where you can make specialty dining reservations.
  24. Totally agree! We always make a sizable donation to the crew fund so that all benefit.

    OBC-Transfer

I don't believe so. I believe that you get whatever is the current offer.
