I have another RU question and I believe you are the right person to put an end to the debate... Similar situation as the OPs but slightly different. 2 cabins, 1 adult and child in one cabin and 1 adult and 2 teens in the other cabin. They want to upgrade to a family cabin and have the 2 adults and the child in the family cabin and leave the teens in the other cabin, on a different deck. I know it doesn't matter who sleeps where, but my understanding was that an adult has to be next to, across from, or diagonally from anyone under 21

I noticed the Chops Sample menu in the Cruise Planner has the Seafood Tower listed. I haven't seen it on a sample menu since Covid. Is it back or is this RCs wonderful IT dept?

I think it goes without saying every cruise line has its own loyalty programs and perks. After looking at some of the other loyalty programs it makes me appreciate RCs a little bit more than I had in the past

I am not sure what technology would be needed to allow making reservations available to everyone, not just to people who purchase individually or how older ships would need to be retrofitted.

As for the Diamond Perks... There is no Specialty Restaurant or Discount. You would get a Specialty Restaurant BoGo when you hit Diamond Plus.

You would need to rent a scooter from either special needs at sea or scoot around (unless you bring one with you. I would suggest also renting a wheelchair or transport chair for Aruba and Curacao if you want to rent a car. Personally, I would consider looking at excursions that have wheelchair/scooter accessibility. The reason I quoted neverbeenhere is in regards to the learning curve of the scooter... I was in a wheelchair, scooter, and on crutches for almost 2 years. I still need to use a scooter if I am going to be walking for a long time. We rented a couple of scooters for my mom and her best friend for their 80th birthday cruise. My mom didn't like the scooter!! (we had her using the ones at Costco and Walmart etc to get used to them) On night 3 I took the scooter to go get a few sodas, I quickly found out why my mom didn't like it!! There is a dial on it to speed it up and slow it down. We were never told about it, nor was it an obvious setting. It was set at the highest speed! Thankfully no one was hurt but it could have been very ugly!!

It would be nice if while they are updating the reservations for the Dinging Packages, they added the D+ BoGo in there as well...

I'll have my fingers crossed that I will be able to make reservations for my UDP in late Feb... It looks like it will be our last cruise for a while 😞 Wanna make the best of it!!

I found out what the corkage charge was back in 2009. We brought 2 bottles of wine to dinner with us (I am not sure if you were allowed to bring your own wine on the ship back then) The waiter said he would be happy to open it for us and pour it and then explained the ins and outs of the corkage fee. I said that was fine, I just thought since RC delivered it to our room to congratulate us for getting married on the ship, I would share it with the family... The waiter said, well, in that case, there is no charge since it is from RC. We said we were happy to pay and he explained again the corkage fee 😄

JS1100 is the best JS on the Radiance Class... JS1602 looks like it has a deep balcony just not as wide as 1100. I haven't stayed in 1602 so can't compare

There was no reason for me to mention the "sale" Everything I have booked or still looking at went up this week from last week's sale. Some things only went up a few dollars but a few other things went up $20-$40 pp That is a huge pass for me Edit to add the UDP is $88 pp more than I paid.

Just look up the USA Passport requirements for all your ports... From what I saw 'Your passport must be valid for the whole of your stay' but I did not look into it in depth
