Following along! I need my fix as I’m going through cruise withdrawal as last one in October and none planned which is unusual for me. congratulations on your weight loss! It’s not easy as we can’t totally give food up! I believe anything you eat/drink at sea has no calories! Just like when the bag of potato chips gets low and you cut off the top of the bag (to reach in easier) …once you cut off the calorie part they are calorie free! Enjoy your cruise!

There is no gluten free bagels or crackers on board and I bring my own. The gluten free pasta and sauce in buffet is very good. The gluten free cakes not so good. I was told the gelato is not gluten free but it never bothered me. They will not go hungry!

Great pictures! That tour sounded wonderful!

We check our account daily while on a cruise to prevent extra charges. We were on the Equinox for a B2B in September/October, 2023. It was our best cruise ever! The food was excellent and plentiful, crew was outstanding, buffet was plentiful and no issue with finding seats (both cruises were at capacity). Sorry, you did not enjoy your cruise.

If it’s closed loop, you should be okay. Check the ports to make sure you will be able to get off ship.

We have been on Deck 12 aft several times. If there is noise it does not bother us. It’s our favorite deck!

We are like you, first time in many years we do not have at least one cruise booked. The prices are too high and the cutbacks and changes just keep coming. Although, the RCL stock keeps going up! It closed today at $ 120.47 which is about $90 more a share than when we bought it during the pandemic.

Looking forward to your review. We are long time Celebrity cruisers but with all the changes am looking else where. Looked into MSC after Generation X’s review. The Yacht Club sounded great until I found out all Gluten Free meals are chosen and made by MDR. Why pay for Yacht Club if I have to eat MDR food. Not that there is anything wrong with MDR food, just that I would pay more in Yacht Club that features different meals.

Following along! We were at a few of these ports on our Equinox cruise in October. We also have a place in St. Maarten and have been going for years. We stayed at Riverside a few years ago and did not care for it. Enjoy your cruise!

I would never consider tipping ahead of receiving the service. We also bring Thank You cards, I write a personal note and enclose cash and give it to whom exceeded our expectations on the last day of cruise. We also ask our Room Attendant or Waiter if they need anything when we go ashore.

In October we were in RS. Everything at Sushi on 5 was included. In Tuscan, my husband wanted an upgraded steak and he was charged for it. One night in Luminae there was nothing I was interested in eating. The waiter suggested the Lobster(upcharge) from MDR and said for RS there is no charge. Also, you get free, unlimited Gelato!

Murano has a delicious Chocolate Soufflé! There is always chocolate to be found! There is usually chocolate ice cream in Oceanview! Enjoy!
