The Connoiseur tour is 2 Nights at McKinley and Two Nights at Denali (so one extra night) and it also has the Tundra Wilderness Tour.  However,it also has 5 Breakfasts, 4 Dinners and 2 Lunches. (times two for two people so 10 breakfasts, 8 dinners and 4 lunches).

first off - we have only been on a 7 day cruise to Alaska, and that was back in 2007  - our first 'big cruise' on the Diamond

we want to go back, and if so, we will definitely be doing a Connoiseur (sp?) tour - the only question would be 6 day

as "our" minimum , or extend to 8 or even 10 days ( my wife's choice ), as we like everything up front and mostly

    planned - just show up

if that's in your time frame and budget , of course

I wonder if the stimulus check refund is based on how much money you make.  Less than $20,000; you already received your check.  More than $150,000;  not so fast; you don't need the money so your check will be last mailed

1st round already sent out - people who got refunds in 2019 and direct deposit ( within income limitations

2nd round - people with direct deposit for SS ( scheduled for 4/30 )

paper checks being sent like above stated - lower income people first

And wouldn't it be nice if that post ended the thread - it was complete, informational, and non-judgmental.

but, there was the little 'agenda' posting "

  4. I drove today for the first time in a month … to the bank drive-thru and back home … and I just walked down to check the mail ...

now, I'm a work at home guy, so used to that, but I also was used to getting out about 5 days a week, going to the c-store, post office, bank, but more importantly into our local ( Publix ) … we now use Instacart for grocery delivery … sad

but a waffle house opened yesterday in Georgia, I think …

Given that they said in the TA webinar that everyone in the first pause would have their FCC in their account by April 30th, I am hoping that those of us still waiting should see movement next week. This isn't for refund of $$, but FCC would be a good start! I will hold out (patiently) until the 30th but will asking questions if nothing has happened by then...

Next Friday, 5/1 … I would be contacting my credit card company for an immediate backcharge for services not rendered

The islands will reopen to ships as soon as possible, I am confident they will be the first major region to reopen to cruising.

well , in the 'old normal' I would be waiting for this schedule also, seeking out a little mini cruise for basically a drive to port, long weekend, and easily put down a refundable deposit

now, in these 'new normal times' we're not giving any cruise line any more monies , refundable or not, until there is a definitive date to re-start cruising

we have a final payment date , for now, of 9/11 , yep, for a late November cruise … we'll see what happens between now and 9/1 and see what happens

    stay safe

    peace out

side note: I did read today where a restaurant re-opened today in Fairbanks, Alaska

She has also asked us to wait a few days when we were about to book inside the final payment window because she had knowledge of a price reduction coming down in the next five days or so

why could you not of booked the exact cabin you wanted, then 5 days later , do a re-fare when the price was reduced … sure you would need to pay more upfront, but then have the difference returned back to your form of payment … pre- C-19, of course ...

Maybe cheaper, but guessing with 5000 crew members from ten plus ships, where will you house them for their 14 days quarantine?  Tarlac/Clarks Housing they use for Grand's quarantine held 446 members.

so, when the ship(s) get 'there' … are all crew then (re)tested and that's when a new 14 day cornteen ( really like that profile name ) starts anew ?

This was The Princess Representative ,I called Princess direct.

She said 'You would be denied boarding'  her exact words.

She personally filled out and sent off form  for  cruise credit  refund.

I am on heart Meditation twice a day twice which controls it.

so, just a random rep at the 1-800 made that decision ???

with no documentation from your or your doctor ???

    I've read your prior postings/threads ...
