Single 1 oz shots of these liqueurs are somewhere in the $8 to $10 range. So you might be charged for 3 drinks against your plus or premier package. If the drink is over the $15 or $20 limit you will be charged the difference plus 18%. Here are some 2024 bar menu. I'm just off the Ruby and these menus look current. They would be the same on all ships.

it's not 3 shots, right?  It's three 1/3 shots poured into a shot glass - so equals 1 shot

  2. I got flowers 🌻after I PASSED OUT on the Regal a few years ago - Medicare supp paid all onboard charges ( except the $28 medical records fee ) ... AON paid the co-pays for my land after visits to ER and Cardiologist...

Never ever would I take my passport into any port. If you are hospitalized the ship will be contacted and your passport will be brought to you by the port agent  I you are totally paranoid you can take a picture or printout but once I am on board all passports go into the safe except for a few cruises where the ship takes them for some countries that require it. All that goes with me off the ship is my medallion, drivers license, one credit card and some cash

    Original passport - nope

Color copy of passport - yep

  4. kinda sorta having this same debate at home now since my slip and fall - the cali king waterbed is no longer an option - way too hard to get in and out of now - and it is now gone (rip😥).

Going with an adjustable base for sure - and discussing the merits of a split cali king or a couple of XL adjustable twins...

I've received and taken a move-over offer before on a Royal Princess cruise in December 2019.  We had an interior on a 5 night California coast cruise booked, ended up getting moved to a 7 night Mexican Riviera cruise in January (just weeks before the COVID shutdown) with a balcony cabin, all our cruise fare in refundable OBC and airline change fees paid.  To top it all off, when I told my parents about the deal they booked the one we ended up on too.  Best cruise deal I've ever had.

    2 move-overs for us - one taken - the other (SKY inaugural 2.0 - 3 day) didn't work out

went from 5 day western carib on Crown to 7 day eastern on Regal leaving the next Sunday with the same - refundable OBC , Princess covered additional 2 days grats and the 2 extra days old drink package as I remember - kept same  cabin cat ( I tried ) - no airline involved

Yes you can book onboard. We have never booked prior to a cruise and have always been accommodated

and, again, we tried to book onboard as soon as we got onboard, directly at Crooners and were told it was booked for the entire cruise.  We could only book Sabatini's for embarkation night and that was it.

That doesn't bode well for Premiere and Plus people hoping to take advantage of the specialty dining options built into the package they paid for.  What kind of scam is Princess running here!?

I debated the same as when we booked the SUN P and took Premier.  It's only a little 5 day'er and 2 specialty dinners each seems like a no-brainer if we can book them that is.

No specialty dinners included in PLUS by the way - just Premier

Only ladder type steps have been available on the last 4 Princess builds (Sky Princess, Enchanted Princess, Discovery Princess, Sun Princess). The occasional pool might be quite shallow and more manageable but the only place you will find graduated steps will be in the paid-for Thermal Spa.

wonder why?  steps with a rail are so much easier to enter the pool as we get older.  maybe that's it - Princess doesn't want us in the pool, huh

Exactly they never book the whole restaurant in advance we have never had a problem booking through the dine line once on board

and on our last cruise on the CB - we went straight to the crown grill, tried to book - nope - all booked for entire cruise ... we can get you into Sabatini's, but only for the first night.

plain ole balcony dweller - not in a suite

I sent an email inquiry to Princess in February....yes, it's now March (after several resent attempts).  I apologize for the PDF format, but there was no other way to transcribe the voice message that Robert left.  This was my phones AI attempt at "translating" voice to text.  I wanted documentation to take on my next cruise.  Feel free to print and take with you also.  Very interesting that "Robert" called me instead of replied by email.  I didn't pick up the unknown number (not Princess) so it went to voicemail.

    Bottom line:

There is no concierge's lounge on Grand/GEM class ships (I knew that).

Suite passengers do have access to a concierge through guest services (I knew that too).

If you have PLUS or Premier, you will not be charged the $5 Room Service Delivery Charge for ordering off the MDR menu.

full mdr menu benefit - 'sweet benefit' or 'suite' benefit?

Haiti is a separate country from the DR. The Dominican ports Princess serves are hundreds of miles away from Haiti. They're too far away to be much affected by what happens there.

RCL is going to stop going to Labadee - private island

It’s entertainment. We get that this stuff happens. We just like to comment now and then. Sometimes I choose not to play based on how people are playing, how I feel and is there something else I would rather do.

excellent answer - just what I was looking for - Entertainment

If everyone plays it right, and I lose, of course I am not happy but I don't mind as much. When it get more irritating is that everyone does not play right, then I lose as a result of that.

then why even play on a cruise ship when the odds are going to be casual players along side you?  For that matter, why does anyone serious about something, food, wine, whisky expect the cruise experience to be the same as a hand picked land experience?
