I'm gonna explore the 'gifted' part - do TA's 'gift' the PLUS packages to clients ... or they quoted in the price and just show up on the 'travel summary' as gifted from either the TA or 'compliments of Princess? If this needs to be removed, no problem, sorry - just curious

not a 'Princess' ripoff - you do realize that Princess does not get to keep that money for 'sales taxes' if the do collect it, right? - they get the privilege of doing all the paperwork, and sending the State Dept of Revenue a check/transfer - but they get to deduct a maximum of a whole $30 for this accounting. SMH

and keeping with this thread - if you are an 'early arrival' to PC - the bars are not going to be set up yet for serving - this takes awhile since all supplies / beer / booze has to also be tendered over with the crew preparing and serving the drinks - package or not

My state doesn't have an Income Tax - so it can't be that either maybe a 'use' tax?

CB also leaves at 3:00pm on Halloween - I thought it might be just because they needed the extra hour to get to P Cay the next day - but looks like this may be the new normal

We've walked up at 7 or so to Crown Grill - empty tables - Can we get a table? sorry, we're booked for tonight - can we make a reservation for another night - sorry, we're booked ( for us commoners, I guess) empty tables mean nothing. Could be lack of servers and cooks on a timely basis.

we would book pre-cruise ... or not ... but that pesky OBC hanging over us to use or lose - and no, I am NOT going "there"

from 'other posters' - never had a problem - we just board and 'they' always have a table for us... well, those 'other posters' don't happen to mention they are on a casino discount cruise and have upgraded to suites many times ... of course they can get a table. Now, we are ordinary - a couple of cruises past the highest captain's circle level - and have had exactly one suite - pre covid - that we purchased the upgrade prior to the bidding process . On our Thanksgiving cruise on the CB - we were in our standard balcony - prolly in the 1st 3% of boarders - went straight to Crown Grill - nope - no availability all cruise - but you can book Sabatini's for tonight only - so we did. We've got OBC on this upcoming cruise that we would like to use for dining. We will try to board at the same earlier time as we did before and see what happens It just seems to me - and maybe just me - when someone inquires about booking specialty dining pre-cruise - and posters state they have never had a problem booking onboard - well we have

correct - hold backs for casino deals and suite passengers ... others - maybe not so much

the stress level goes to "zero" by 11:00am the day before the cruise - just like a day added to our cruise - a 5 day becomes a 6 day - Nicer room, great shower - totally relaxed to board - not stressed from a drive down that morning on 95 or the turnpike for us

It's picture night - nothing more, nothing less. Have P drop taking the pictures and see how many 'dress up' NO PERSONAL PHOTOS ALLOWED IN THE ATRIUM 🤑

we drive down the 4-5 hours the day before - get a nice hotel room ( we can see Terminal 2 at PE/FLL ) if we choose to take one of those rooms. Next morning - under 10 minutes to be in the parking garage around 10:00 am

this is all on Princess lack of enforcement of their own 'rules' / 'code' - If P wants 'formal' nights - that's what's simple

hopefully the "CB" will be better staffed now than it was Thanksgiving 2022 ... what staff there was did exceptionally well given the circumstances.
