They possibly don't mention them in Daily Programme or forms outside your stateroom because they don't want UK cruiser's to know that you can still possibly buy them because we have been stopped from purchasing FCDs for over 2 years.
If they are still selling FCDs to US cruiser's then I am afraid it stinks that Cunard are still selling them but stopped UK cruiser's purchasing them 2 yrs ago. Along with free drinks package and gratuities for those in Grills which US cruiser's get but UK cruiser's don't shows the contempt Cunard show and treat UK customers.
Current adherence to dress code especially smart attire is very poor on QM2 considering TAs are supposed to be the most formal. Some people's idea of collared shirt is laughable and there seems to be no adherence on any part of the ship after 6pm. Standards have dropped significantly since our last roundtrip TA in 2019.
It all depends on length of cruise at $24 per 24 hrs and on a 15 nt cruise is a considerable sum and even more for Premium for what is a very poor internet service.
There are signs and barrier asking politely for those in Princess Grill not to use Kings Court Alternative venue as a thoroughfare but unfortunately there are many ignorant people who ignore it and used it on Thursday night. By the way the Coriander is excellent and great value as purchased pre cruise with a discount making it $20pp.
Currently using Basic plan on QM2 and find it very slow when working and doesn't at all at many parts around the ship and definitely not in cabin or balcony. Also unable to download any emails since I left Southampton on 18th May.
Currently on QM2 and although only in a balcony cabin they do not deliver Britain Today automatically to your stateroom you have to request it to be delivered at Pursers Desk.
It means the internet signal automatically goes off while using it and then if you wait a while it automatically connects. Nothing to do with not using it for a period it happens while you are using it you just lose signal.
Well we stood and watched them doing it on Iona in March and they thought it was hilarious and their parents must lay on sunbeds thought it was amusing.
We have recently moved our aft cabins on Arvia for September and April next year. Still too many reports of people being unable to use balcony because they were wet or were getting splashed with water when using them. We were on Iona in March and children were having great fun throwing water over the aft when in Infinity pool.
The system for CPS is exactly the same at Mayflower. You unload your own car and take them to the appropriate loading point for your deck. There were trollies available last week.
If QV and QE are the same as QM2, which we are currently on then there is no need to worry even for dinner in MDR about dress code. QM2 transatlantic cruises always used to be more formal than QV/QE but not anymore as dress code standards since our last roundtrip TA have significantly declined.
Well I have just paid balance of cruise on Arvia in September which was booked on brochure release and have paid not much more than £100pppn which included free parking and an amount of OBC for Select balcony cabin. IMO excellent value.
They might be higher prices due to currency fluctuations but certainly not higher to cover $75 per day and $16-50 per day on gratuities. That is a total price of over $1300 and I don't think US cruise prices are that higher than UK prices. Should either both get it or neither IMO.
Well currently on roundtrip TA on QM2 and have never been able to get online in cabin or on balcony. Now sitting in Red Lion and in the past hour internet has dropped off 3 times already.
