  1. Not the same. As far as I know this is the only Q class without an indoor pool.
  2. The proper avenue would be for Royal to charge the shipping of the 2 bags to the individual who made the mistake. Royal knowing what happened should have subsidized the wronged individual. One time I made a mistake as I was in a hurry and walked out with the wrong bag. I did not realize it until I was out of the terminal. Spoke immediately to a Custom officer and was told no one is allowed until all passengers are out. I needed to make a flight and decided to have Royal ship it to me. My bad and I paid for it. The other frustrating part is that when I called to make shipping arrangement, I was never told that the shipping company would not take CC, Cash or personal checks. The delivery person only wanted a certified check and had to come back the next day to re-deliver the bag. Now I have some of the ugliest bags that look like a cow and can be spotted a mile away. On my last 2 cruises my bags were left some 15+ cabins away and I was able to spot the bag immediately😜 I also have pom poms attached to the handle.
  3. I've been lucky and fly the same day from Florida ports. This is the first time out of Galveston and have a 5:45 United flight on the same day.
  4. Just booked R/T from Bush Int'l to RCL cruise terminal thru Galveston Express in early December and it cost me $65 ($32.5 x2). Booked times that fit my arrival and departure times. Ps. Prior to making these reservations, I called Royal CS for pricing and just general information regarding times available--R/T was $79.90 but not much info on times. Sometimes they wait until bus is loaded before departing.
  5. So, I'm assuming you are ready to move on from Royal with such dissatisfactions.😜
  6. I do know that the Aqua & Ice show have areas reserved for Suites, P, D+ & Key. However, one needs reservations. My understanding is that Royal maintains 25% available for on board reservations. Usually there's staff in Boleros for reservations. As an instance, on Oasis all of the adult comedy shows were sold out. One night we went to the standby line. Before they opened the door, there were twice as many in the standby line as there were in the reservation line. Everyone got it in. The Blaze room is oddly configured with a bar in the middle of room.
  7. I guess we could go back to the Stone Age of cruising. That's the way it was when there were no established lounges. Hey, I still have some Royal swag from trading for Shipshape $s.🤣
  8. On the off year, which date do you celebrate. My wife was a leap year baby and we celebrated both the 28 & 1st.🤣
  9. However, if you are on Oasis your view from the front open solarium is much better than the Odyssey's 2X70, especially if one leaves out of Bayonne and the view of NYC skyline. Here's an idea, see if you can do a BtoB out of Bayonne as Symphony leaves and replaced by Odyssey. My only problem with Odyssey is that it does not have an indoor pool which is a downer when sailing in the cooler months from Bayonne.
  10. I like 6:30. On Oasis CP opened at 7 and I usually wound up in the WJ and get a fresh made to order omelet.
  11. Try linking all of the reserves and then try re-booking MTD. If having problems, go to the MDR as soon as you board and speak to the Maitre D to get your times. On my recent Oasis sail, although MTD started at 6:45, they were seating some much earlier. I had a passenger seated by us and he told us that he was on MTD but he had same table and times each night. Was more traditional than MTD.
  12. If its refundable, GS will give you the cash equivalent. I use any OBC towards grats. and any on board expenses.
  13. However, on board bookings get re-priced at a higher price.
  14. I'm an early riser myself and at the track at 5:30. The promenade is a ghost town at that time.
  15. At least you were notified by a letter, we found out the first night when we saw the sign as you enter the MDR.
  16. On my October Oasis sail, there was more of a line at Starbucks than at the DL.😄
  17. My invoice (Oasis) said 5:30, but the app states 5 and seated no later than 5:15PM. We had dinner at the 3rd deck MDR which is also used for MTD.
  18. I don't visit the DL sine the traditional dining was moved up to 5, however I do visit for my morning, afternoon and evening decaf cappuccino. As previously posted, I have one and take it to my cabin after having been fleeced at the Casino.🤣🤣
  19. Did not see calamari on the Dinner menu on my recent Oasis sail. However, the minestrone soup went very well with the antipasti plate. I haven't had the opportunity to eat at the other Giovanni's.
  20. You don't go for the meat and cheese platter as an appetizer. I do on both Giovanni and Jamie and always ask for extra Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and prosciutto.😁
  21. That's a reasonable price. For my Easter Anthem sail they are going at around $165.
  22. You mean that you can actually hear and understand what the Captain is saying over the loudspeakers. It's bad if you are sitting by the pool area. It's frustrating as one can't discern what is being announced. However, when there an announcement by the Cruise Director or some of his staff announcing Bingo, sales in the promenade, etc., it comes across quite clearly.🤣
  23. What about kids. Any notifications on their exclusions.
  24. Then you really will see the crowds return to the DL/CL and get unlimited drinks.
