Not asking about different ships but staying home 🙂

I'm curious how you know that. Is it something that's in the daily paper?

Do you think staying home for six or twelve months might give you more interesting things to do?

You spend close to a third of a year on cruises?!?!? Wow.

Or have a leisurely dinner in the TC also.

What's typical?

I wear the same things, seasonally of course, when I travel as I do at home. So it just a matter of how many of certain things, pants, tops generally. And I like a lot of black shorts and pants so all the tops go with them.

I agree about the menus. Huge selection. And what more can you ask for at a "steakhouse."

You see TV ads??? LOL. Just kidding but we rarely do.

We have the reverse. My husband has a real sense of direction and I don't. So it's good that we stick together 🙂

Are you aware that you can renew your passport as far ahead as you choose? One stress remover.

We have two to three 'courses' at the TC. An app, return for a main, and perhaps return for a dessert. I don't remember ever sitting close to the buffet itself so it didn't seem particularly busy. But it's good that we all have options.

So is ours. We've not done one since covid.

I'd like to think/hope that it was a one-off event. It took 20 or 30 minutes to get a menu (the couple at the next table had the same experience) and each course was painfully slow also. And we don't like to be rushed either. But it seems from reading here that our experience wasn't typical. With four meals at specialities and we got a extra at one and our love of the Terrace Cafe we just weren't inspired to return to the GDR. This upcoming trip is a B2B close to three weeks so we'll have more opportunity.

Yep, we have the same but had to buy it ourselves. We also have compostable plastic bags to put in it. I actually like the whole process a lot. I'm a bit of a tree hugger having lived out here almost 50 years.

We have photos that we recently took out of albums to save space. And some kitchen things of Mother's that I still use. And a very few, under five, knick knacks.

Ah, you live in SFBA. We have similar rules here in SEA. We even have a yard waste/food bin. It's actually against the law to put food in the garbage!

I think we're related 🙂 Bob is wearing a tee right now that he got from our builder when we did a massive remodel/addition to our house over 15 years ago. He would NEVER leave the property in it.

I'm curious. Was there a single, aesthetic thing that actually needed changing or are people just wanting changes for the sake of changes. Are there things that are showing wear that aren't being dealt with? I see discussions here about those who are port oriented and those ocean. But it seems like decor for the decor's sake is something that some people get cranky about. ?

I've been meaning to ask, is the pasta made fresh? I've found the menus to be quite extensive. And let's face it, a "steakhouse" menu is going to be pretty lopsided 🙂

100 tee shirts? You must have a REALLY large family.

We're someone like you. I'm dealing with a back issue that's likely going to take a long time to resolve. Almost any walking can give me a lot of pain. (I describe it as I can't make it through Costco.) So I'm considering one of those small scooters that fold down. PS: I have great stories also 🙂

As an aside, we're working towards moving into a senior living place this year! (Hopefully in Flagstaff AZ) Our daughter is a major environmentalist and will deal with our "stuff" and "junk" accordingly...when we go to our "great reward." But we're trying already to make her job not so hard.
