  1. Interesting, we never received a notice regarding small refundable credit on our June 2022 cruise on the Majestic. Guess we will never see that money. We did receive our larger refund for our August 2022 Discovery cruise; it arrived in an envelope like shown above. Thanks for the information. For future cruises, I will make sure we get our smaller refundable (if any) before we leave the ship.

  4. We will be flying in the day before our cruise out of Vancouver and will be staying at the Marriott Hotel Vancouver Airport. The day of our cruise, we are thinking of taking the Sky Train down to Waterfront Station and board the ship at Canada Place. Doable? Can we walk from the hotel to the YVR train station? Or, do we need the hotel shuttle to return us to the airport and then take the train. Thanks in advance for your help.
  5. We noticed the motion sensor lights on our June Majestic cruise.
  6. We didn't get them on our Discovery cruise. We were told that due to the supply chain, they were not available but she would give us a toothbrush if we needed one.
  7. Have used Glacier Wind many times. They are a great company to work with and our No. 1 choice whenever we are sailing to ISP.
  8. Following along, thank you for taking the time to post your memorable journey. Your Alaska cruise is the same ship and itinerary that we did in August. It was our first time on the Quantum and we enjoyed it very much. Next year, we are returning to Alaska on the Ovation so I will be anxious to see your thoughts. I hope you have a fabulous time!
  9. I called this morning around 8:30 AM PST and left my number. About 15 minutes later I received a call. I almost didn't answer it because it didn't say "Princess" it was just a regular name on my caller ID. I did pick up the phone because I was expecting someone to call me back -- glad I did.

  11. Just returned from the Quantum. Tendering in Skagway was great; well organized and quick. We had six tenders in use the day we went so that was a big help. Hope your experience is a good one.

  13. I am wondering about this as well. I always mark our cabin as "do not upgrade." However, with this new process, I might be willing to change my mind.

  15. Thank you. Would one have to ask for this on every booking? Or, once submitted Princess will have it in their files and it will just be part of any future bookings?
  16. Is there a form that needs to be filled out and sent to Princess? If so, where do you get it?

  20. Joining the group. Princess owes us OBC for unused transportation vouchers and a dollar amount that appeared on our final bill that I have no idea what it means or what it is for. Has anyone ever had a dollar amount appear on their bill with a comment that states: Referred to Corporate Finance???
  21. Majestic Princess in June -- had to use tokens. Discovery Princess in August -- free soap and dryer sheets -- no tokens required for wash or dry. If washer and dryers on your floor are in use, you have options -- we went to the floor below us and were able to find availability there -- you are not limited to your floor.
  22. How does rapid test and trace work? I assume they are a proctoring site. Do have a couple of questions I hope someone can help with: Can you use a smart phone (android) for the test? Is there an app that you use to reach a proctor? Do you need to set up an account before hand?

  24. Possibly, but each cruise is different and ours might be different from yours --- or it might not. I like to see things for myself.
