Have not, it started right after our last cruise. We sail in 30 days however we have a suite so we still get service twice a day as far as I know

Our last few cruises our cabins have been ready before we got done lunch which was about 12:30pm. Our bags.... we have seen them at 3pm we have seen them at 8pm and all times in between

My wife and I gave up our plane seats once at the boarding get. We were flying from Frankfurt to Newark and they oversold the plane. I family of 6 would have been split up. They started asking people if they wanted to give up their seat. I stepped forward and seat if I do give up two seats what do we get. It turned out pretty good, we got $1000 to use on our next flights, and will get two business class seats on the next flight that was leaving in three hours.... I said heck yes

You will fine, if you are really concerned do what I do. Bring a zip lock bag, put your valuables in the bag and bury them in the sand under your chair, leave the book on your chair

There is no question I would pay for expedited turn around. At the moment I have three friends, for three different parts of the US who are all waiting for their passport renewals. Two are going on almost 5 months and one is just over 6 months

Great article.... I forget what cruise line it was, I was watching a show about different cruise lines and how things work. Anyway they had a number of people behind the scenes who sole job it was to see what people ate and what percentage of food was wasted (trash). It was pretty astounding the amount of food that literally just goes in the trash, something like 25-30%. They then work on doing smaller portions, especially at the buffet and also cutting back on things which people don't eat

What ship and date are you sailing? My wife and I are on the June 28th cruise on the Gem A few years back in the on the Escape we were headed to Bermuda from NYC. Because of a hurricane we never made it. The day of the cruise we found out we were headed to Florida and the Bahamas. We made it to Port Canaveral...... and that was it. It was announced later in the day on our PC day we would not be going to GSC or Nassau. It was too rough to tender and Nassau was full. We had a very long very slow 3 days back to NYC. We did not get any type of compensation

It does not go into effect until 2025. Unfortunately our cruise on the Gem which was supposed to stop in Bar Harbor on July 4th is going to Portland. We were notified about a month ago. Bar Harbor is using the pier tenders dock at for their fireworks. What pisses me off is NCL must have known about this months ago. I was looking at Bar Harbors Harbor Master's calendar in January and the Gem was not on the list for July 4th back then

BINGO! On our last cruise we had been in our cabin for a couple minutes when our butler stopped by to introduce himself. We had some small talk and my wife ask if he was married? any children? Nathanael's face lite right up! He started showing us photos of his wife and 2yo little girl. Probably one of the most pleasant human beings I've ever met.

Knock on wood all of our butlers and room stewards in the Haven and in Suites have been great! Lack of menu variety? Spent 12 days in the Haven on the Getaway. Breakfast was excellent, ate there everyday. 9 dinners there, plenty to choose from less you are a picky eater We were escorted down 4 times to the small club to see shows, can in thru the back door. When they opened the doors I only heard one person griping about. Another Haven guest piped up to the person and said these are the perks if you want to pay the price.

I know we can bring wine onboard, my question is how to store it. I forget if the refrigerators (Gem-Suite) can fit a bottle or two of wine. My wife would like to bring two bottles

A little late but......
