  1. I think this shows what happens to your car.
  2. Cartagena is a regular P&O port. Just get off the ship and you are right there. Lovely place to walk about, go up the lift to the top and see the views. Visit the amphitheatre and other ruins.
  3. You do not have to make the sofa into a bed. A steward will come each night to do it.
  4. This is a good point. Olive Grove on Iona and Green & Co on Arvia take up the same space. Iona’s Olive Grove is always packed with a huge turnaround. If Green & Co is fairly empty most of the time then this is a large disparity. Obviously this space is much smaller than the main MDRs but could make a difference.
  5. Thanks for this. I stand corrected. From the description I can see that it is a lot bigger than a Martello Tower. Loving your report @TenneSea
  6. Martello Tower https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martello_tower
  7. Yes so did we but as I previously said this has only changed recently.
  8. Nearly right https://www.google.com/search?q=england 2 colombia 0&tbm=
  9. If you have a saver fare is it not correct that you cannot pick your cabin and state “No upgrade”. In that case even if you have an inside cabin grade they can upgrade to any cabin.
  10. I like @mrsgoggins thought that only deluxe balcony had a sofa, I booked before there were any sailings and the cabin pictures were not clear. I now know that standard balcony also has a sofa fthough the room is smaller. Love Celebrity Solstice class, not that keen on Iona though we are going on Arvia in 2025.
  11. The mid ship ones are the same width as a standard balcony but longer and the balconies are on the curve part of the ship.
  12. If you arrive to Canada via Cruise ship you need no extra paperwork. Different if flying. Need things for USA.
  13. We would choose to use them but the packages value makes them irrelevant.
  14. The Plus and Premium packages are good but have definitely eroded the Elite benefits.
  15. On Arcadia once we were allotted a disembarkation lounge and when we got there realised it was the assisted lounge. It was packed. They seemed to have used it as an overflow lounge. Disembarkation was delayed and crowds really built up until people were allowed ashore.
  16. The mid ship deluxe are thinner and longer and the balcony is not as large.
  17. This is a very, very popular cruise. You were a bit late to the party and missed out.
  18. At embarking we have a carryon suitcase plus our winter coats. At ports we have a very small handhold bag. Some people carry more but most people do not want to carry a heavy load around with them sightseeing.
  19. Maybe they need to send one for each person on the cruise.
  20. See this https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2945307-new-to-po-first-timers/#comment-65582282
  21. This is a good thing with Princess. However their excursions are much pricier than P&O.
