Hi, I got my deposit back in full. It actually came through today. I did not need insurance to cover it at all. I was told I had 15 days to decide before payment was due in full. There was no penalty and as mentioned, I have already received the credit on my credit card.

Sorry about that blank page. I think I am going to call the Dr back tomorrow and see if I can get in sometime next week.......I have no clue why my iron is low again. I do know that iron pills can make you constipated and I definitely DO NOT want that to happen!

I got my lab results and my A1C was 6.5 But my Creatine number was high🤥 Doc says I need to drink more water And my iron is low. I think I need to discuss that with him because I had a. Iron infusion a few months ago. I don't know why it is low again😧 And I don't know what happened to this page.....I tried posting from my phone and have all this space left.........WEIRD!

Ohhh.....thanks........it was a tour from a specific company. I did not remember that part.

Hi, I wear slacks and a top. Nothing what I consider "dressy" but I do try to look put together. ..black pants and a knit top (for example). River Cruising is very casual. If I am wearing jeans for touring then I will change for dinner.

I have never owned a pair of hiking boots in my life.......so no, I would not put them in the necessary walking shoe category either. I don't hike and bringing boots with me on a cruise is not something that would ever be in my wheelhouse. There are plenty of shoes on the market that have very good to excellent arch support and comfort and cushioning too. @shari1737, have you ever tried TAOS? I have multiple pairs of their sandals and love them🙂 I wore these when I went to Alaska last summer.....they are called Bzees......they have wonderful cushioning and arch support too.

And now after going through some of my previous bookings/cancellations, I forgot this, but I have a credit of 200.00 from AMA Waterways going back to early 2022😧I totally forgot about it. I must be having a Sr moment🤔 I will now look at AMA's Paris sailings too..........oh, I have sailed with both AMA and Uniworld before and both were terrrific😀

Well, after 3 days of going back and forth. I could not justify paying twice the price😧.....I cancelled my Tauck River Cruise and will research the differences between Uniworld and AMA (price wise). I have sailed with both of those lines before and enjoyed them both and would choose either one. So now have to sit down and do more research😀. I know they are totally different in decor (not a big factor for me). Have to compare pricing. Both offer a special for solos---no single supplements on certain cabins😀

On a new search now.....AMA or Uniworld LOL..... I realize we are all different but in my brain, I couldn't justify paying twice the price....call me frugal if you want.......that part of me comes from a Dad who was raised during the depression (he is no longer here) but he is with me all the time. I know I am very lucky to be able to cruise as much as I do and am very grateful for it all but I do have to look at the cost too........it is a factor for me.
