Hi Kat,😀 I am guessing what you are wearing looks more than acceptable.🙂 I am just speaking for me. Wearing shorts in a nice restaurant? Just not something I would do. And it is not just "the legs" part for me. I just prefer wearing a pair of slacks for dinner. Even, here at home and I am in Florida, I would put a lightweight pair of crops/capris on if I was going out for dinner. (in summertime anyway).

Hi George, I wonder if we are in the minority on this one.......I agree with you 100%. I never wear shorts for dinner either.

Hi again, you won't believe this....I posted a whole paragraph on the wrong board LOL......thankfully I was able to delete it. I thought I was posting on HERE......to my cruising gals and was on the Florida forum by accident LOL.😮 The point of that post was about the weather in Athens. I was checking on it for packing purposes. I will keep checking through next week. Right now it says 60s during the day and 40s at night. Trying to to decide what to bring for daytime touring. Will give everything another look. Not sure if 60 for them is colder for me. Might have to pack a couple of extra pairs of joggers. I want to be comfy for tours.

I guess that is what makes us all different and that is a good thing (in my opinion). I have no desire to rush off the ship on disembarkation day or carry my own bags off that early either. I much prefer a more leisurely process and be in one of the very last groups off the ship (if not the last one). Different strokes for different folks😀

The pictures are lovely and the Arts Cafe is my favorite spot😀. Thanks for sharing it all with us.

Good morning, feeling all better today😀 I have a close friend who just returned from a cruise to Japan with some additional land days.........spoke to her yesterday and she LOVED, LOVED, LOVED It......She said she would go back on a total land trip because she just fell in love with Japan.

I just tried logging in to My Silversea account and got an error message so it would not let me log in at all. So have not seen anything, including anyone else's information.

Hi, didn't you say you arrive in Miami though? For a 10am flight out of Ft. Lauderdale? It will take at least 30-45 minutes to get from the port of Miami to the FLL airport and then check in, go through security and get to your gate........

OK.....so the internet is very hard to read sometimes......tone doesn't always come across the same way to everyone. Thanks for the clarification. Over the last few years I have gone away from those big ships and so sitting at the bar on smaller vessels is never an issue😀

Hi again😀 the Metro near Southpoint is on Baymeadows Road but I am guessing you will have that on your GPS.

I must have missed that "don't hog a seat at the bar" thing.........WOW, seriously? I sail solo and that is my preference and too bad if it so bothersome to some. It is an easy way for me to chat with folks and meet the bar staff as well. Why have seats? Because some of us like to sit in them. I didn't realize sitting at the bar was such a negative for some people........I guess that is why some of the lounges have tables and chairs😀....something for everyone!!!
