Sharon, I fly out on Saturday and usually pack the day before I leave (or maybe 2) so I might actually take the luggage out tomorrow. I found a cute crossbody bag at Ross the other day. It is a "Baggalini", first one of that brand I have ever purchased. It is a sturdy nylon with an adjustable strap. It is in black and will be great for excursions.....will hold my key card, glasses, tissues, credit card, some $$$. It was only 15.99 too.....it is about 9.5 inches side to side and 7.5 inches up to down and it zips.....which I love! I love a zippered bag! I will see if I can find a picture somewhere.

There are many, many cruises that are opened through 2025 so 2024? Those have been open for at least a year (if not longer)..

Hi Neil, flying to Athens for an 11 night cruise around Greece and Turkey. It will be my first visit to Istanbul and really looking forward to it😀

Hi, I am very low maintenance and I don't worry about whether I give the butler enough things to do. That thought has never even occurred to me to be totally honest. I have 2 or 3 things I ask for at the beginning of the cruise and never thought about it after that......if something comes up? I will find them. But as for "giving them enough things to do".......never crossed my mind.

I was on The Moon back in 2021 sailing from Athens and I know the Salt Bar had a Mediterranean gin but I can't recall the name. It was only served in that venue and the bartender was great. I do remember his name. It was Carlos and I love that bar😀

Hi girls, I have sort of a fun post. I received an email from Cruise Critic asking if I would like to participate in an interview about cruising. I just got finished and the gals who conducted the interview were very nice. We did it over the phone and it last about 45 minutes. Questions about my years of cruising, how I usually book, a bit about me as well. Different topics were covered. They also asked me what suggestions I would give a first time cruiser. But I told them I cruise solo so my thoughts may not apply to a couple or family. But I gave them my thoughts as honestly as possible. They thanked me very much🙂

I agree......when F&B Departments are ordering an item like a bagel, they are surely ordering in BULK and are surely ordering a frozen item. Depends on the cruise line but it is not like they are going to bake a "fresh bagel"......with better dough, better water, etc. Also, food is VERY, VERY subjective so what one person thinks is an excellent bagel, someone else might think it is terrible. So really no way to give you an answer that may satisfy your partner.
