  1. We were in a forward cabin on the Lido deck on the Regal and really enjoyed it. Our slider was never locked, however, said, you will need to keep the drapes closed at night so the lights do not interfere with the Bridge.
  2. Theoretically, mid ship cabins are more coveted, therefore typically cost more.
  3. A balcony may become available, just keep checking in.
  4. In addition to visiting your Roll Call, you will find much more pertinent answers to your questions on the link below. Many cruisers book with other tour companies and not through the ship. We will be sailing to Iceland and Norway this June and I booked our excursions many months ago and discovered that these fill up quickly. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/116-northern-europe-amp-baltic-sea/
  5. Our experience has also been that we book our own domestic flights, however, we have found that EZAir is much less expensive and saves us a substantial amount of money with the flexibility that others have mentioned.
  6. Thanks. I have previously found that and did a search with the date and flight number. The response is; "We can't seem to find what you are looking for, try searching again."
  7. We will be on Virgin Atlantic flying in from Seattle.
  8. I typically "make do", but staff bend over backwards for gluten free and diabetics. We are truly no different. I did not plan to have genetics that create a cholesterol manufacturing physical body!!! If the tables were turned, they would " get it".
  9. This may have been asked and answered... I need to inform the transfer company which is our arrival terminal for pickup. How can I determine this? We are booked through EZAir (Princess) and are now ticketed for June 2023. Thanks
  10. That is very odd. I would take it to guest services and contest. Virtually everyone else on CC has said they we're just charged the difference. That is ridiculous and plain inadequate math.
  11. Why can't the food options be fleet wide? Good grief. We have a transatlantic booked on the CB for November 2024.
  12. Thanks Tom! Please tell me to whom I would turn in to? A Chef's Table is on your App? Please elaborate.
  13. Apparently, all staff of Princess Corporate can eat anything and they are perfectly healthy with no health issues. And this would include their families and friends. Ugh!
  14. Hi @Purdey16 !!! Yes, I have you on my Roll Call Sheet (I am keeping track of attendees for the Meet & Greet). What I have learned, is that once onboard and as soon as you can, call the Dine Line from your cabin or any phone you can find, or find a Maitre D and tell them that if there will be a Chef's Table, that you want to be on the list. I also say that if there is a Winemaker's Dinner, then we want to sign p for that as well. We got lucky on our last cruise. See you soon!
  15. Thank you @PandaBear62 for sharing your journey with us. We have not been on the Ruby, but we enjoyed a full PC transit on the Coral in January of 2018. It was hot and humid even then. When I would go out on our balcony, my camera lens would fog up. At first, I thought that there was something wrong with my lens. Since the Coral is an older ship, we were able to go through the old locks. We were able to touch the walls from our balcony. Enjoy your journey!
  16. Remember, that if you order a drink which costs more than $15.00 then you will just be charged the difference. So, you might just want to keep the Plus package.
  17. That is too bad about your experience. Ours was great on the Grand. We hope to try it on the Sky this June.
  18. On the Princess website, the deck plans after April 2024, include Vines. But, who knows?
  19. We have sailed Alaska 3 times in September. We experienced a variety of weather and really enjoy that time of year. One time when departing Ketchikan, it was about 75 degrees and the outdoor areas were bustling with happy cruisers... In the hot tubs, pools, enjoying life. Also, there is more of an opportunity to make it all of the way down a fjord to a glacier, mainly the Tracy Arm fjord which is beautiful.
  20. Many drinks are covered at Good Spirits for the Plus Package. It may not cover higher priced wines or other higher priced alcohol.
  21. Thank you for taking the time to convey your experience with the Premium Package. We enjoy the Plus Package as even that one is worth it for us, even though he does not drink alcohol. However, he loves hot cocoa and virgin Pina Coladas!
  22. I am so bold, that I would have gone to his table and removed it myself and said , WTH???
