I was wondering the same thing. I've been on the first Edge out of the US and didn't experience these issues. Also, was on the Apex, and no noise. 67 feet could just be too much, but I'm not an engineer. The Reflection is not an Edge class ship so I do not think you can compare since it is a different design.

Having the same issue with someone in our group booked with a group booking. I was a able to link and make reservations for 5 of our group, We figure we will deal with the 1 other person as soon as we board.

If you have medical dietary restrictions, how do you let staff know pre-cruise of your needs? I was just placed on a gluten-free diet, and between the new menus and now having to be gluten-free, how does one handle this? My next RC cruise won't be till July on Oasis with family, so I hope things improve by then. Has anyone that has to be gluten-free cruised with the new menus yet?

Not happy about this either, as I love live music. But, if they are doing this, they should make the Jazz on 4 the smoking casino and make the main casino smoke free. I can't even stand walking through the casino at times because of all the drifting smoke. Just my 2 cents, not that it means anything to RC.

Great information on MSC and great comparison to Celebrity. Makes me want to give MSC a try again. I actually sailed once on MSC a very long time ago - actually 20 years ago on the MS Melody. It was my 2nd ever cruise and it stopped at St. Lucia, which I had always wanted to go to. So, there was a women's group going and I signed up. What an experience on a very, very old ship. All the announcements were in about 20 languages (probably not 20, but it felt that way) and they had security guards in black suits stationed all over the ship, including the top deck in the sun and overlooking the pool. The shows were also very old Vegas type.

Just off the Anthem a couple of weeks ago. The reservations for iFly and Northstar opened at 7 pm each night. A staff member told us to be ready - have the app open, and just refresh, refresh, refresh as it gets close to 7 pm. Time slots go quickly, especially if you are trying to book a group of people. One night, it seemed to open a few minutes before 7 pm.

Thank you for this excursion report. Might be something I'd be interested in as I have never gotten off the ship in Port Canaveral.

To each his own...When I sail solo, I still ask for the beds to be separated in configurations where the bed is under the window as in this case. It does seem to open up the cabin space a bit.

I'd loved to see more pics of your cabin. I haven't been on the Enchantment in years.

I have to ask. Was the tree lighting and all the "Waiting for Santa" stuff to arrive particular to this cruise sailing date, or does Disney do this on all its ships and each time a new cruise departs from Thanksgiving to Christmas? I'm asking mainly because I'm interested in taking my Daughter and family, who are big Disney fans on a Disney cruise.

I hope both parents and baby are OK. I have not heard anything about the sex of the baby, but if it is a girl. I hope they name it Jewel.
