  1. OMG! I've never heard noise like that. I've been on the Edge and Apex and those cabins were quiet. I hope you email that video to Celebrity, so upper management can actually hear it.
  2. So sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing.
  3. Enjoyed reading your thoughts on the IV veranda. Did it once, not sure I would do it again. I do think it might be nice for a cold weather itinerary, like the baltics or Norwejian fjords where it's not so hot and humid and you still want a view.
  4. Great pics so far ! Really brings back memories of Dubrovnik and also Venice. Makes me want to go back.
  5. Really enjoyed following you along. I try to cruise with friends usually, but sometimes I cruise solo. So I'm glad you had a great time and met lots of folks.
  6. Really enjoyed following you along. Thanks for taking the time to post while enjoying your cruise.
  7. I'm on the Dec 11th sailing and was able to book Spectra's Cabaret as well. That was the only one showing up in the cruise planner.
  8. Looking forward to your review. I'd really like to go to Africa, so this live review will be great. Have a great cruise and trip!
  9. Enjoying your review and comparisons to RC. Since I go back and forth between RC and Celebrity, and have had the "pleasure" of staying in an IV on Edge. I agree with you. It's a cabin with a window. I also was on Apex, and stayed in an aft cabin with a traditional balcony - much better, plus they are larger. That's the way to go if sailing on a Celebrity Edge class ship if you are not in a suite. I did enjoy the 4 dining rooms on Edge & Apex, and the theatre almost in the round. I actually enjoy the M & S class ships of Celebrity better. But then again I enjoy my RC cruises as well.
  10. Thanks again for taking us along. Really enjoyed your review. Safe travels back to Canada.
  11. Anyone know if Hoppen's design contract is for the entire E class? Can't wait for more reasonable furniture.
  12. No. I bring a travel alarm clock. Be careful using your phone for an alarm because of time changes - the phone doesn't always sync up with time changes, plus ships time may also be different.
  13. I am really loving your review. I admire your bravery and fortitude to carry on with your excursions and treks since you are cruising solo and in a wheelchair. Wondering if from your virtual balcony, did you have a view of the port in Boston?
  14. Thank you. I was able to see all my cruises and check in!
  15. It's check in day for me too, and all my cruises are gone too. And the app is working properly either. Very frustrating.
  16. Here's two books set on a cruise ship. They are on my to read list, as they have gotten some good reviews. Maiden Voyages: Magnificent Ocean Liners and the Women Who Traveled and Worked Aboard Them by Stan Evans. This is non-fiction but seems interesting. Danger on the Atlantic (A Jane Wunderly Mystery Book 3) by Erica Ruth Neubauer Thanks for the pics of the virtual balcony at different times. Can't wait to see a pic of when you are in port.
  17. Loving your review. I was wondering if at some point you can post a few pics of different views/times (the seas/in port/day/evening etc.) of the virtual balcony. I have never stayed in one, but was wondering if it truly looks like what you would see if in a real balcony. Sometimes I cruise solo and always thought it might be a good option to save some money. Thank you.
  18. I was on the Bermuda leg with you, and debarking was a breeze. They did use the facial recognition system. Just walked off the ship and walked through, no lines. So who knows why they wouldn't have used it when you got off. Enjoyed reading your thread. I wish I could have stayed on for the NE/Canada leg but had other obligations at home. Thanks for doing the live thread. So happy you got your kindle back!
  19. Thanks for taking the time to do your live review. Enjoy the New Year's Eve cruise!
  20. I think a lot of us would go on a cruise if it stopped in Coco Cay for 3 days. Thanks for your review. Enjoying it.
  21. Thank you for a great live review! You certainly did some adventurous excursions that I would not consider....enjoy your time in Hawaii, and like others I hope you continue to post about your adventures. Stay healthy and enjoy the remainder of your vacation!
  22. I'll be on the Adventure with you. Several months ago, I had to make a new password with eMed also. I did it via my computer. Today, when I went to do my test, it worked perfectly. So I hear your frustration about the password/account. I also read about people having issues with onpoint on you know where.
  23. Gorgeous weather for a sailaway from NJ today! Have a great 2nd cruise!
