  1. Hi, I'll be in need of a mobility/scooter rental for our cruise out of Southampton in August. On a recent cruise out of FL, we saw a Pride Jazzy Select 6 that would be perfect for my wife. I've received a quote from Scootaround. Anyone have experience with them or other vendors in Southampton? Thanks!
  2. Our group decided to book Tophams in August. Quick walk to Victoria "Coach" Station and the Princess shuttle to Southampton. I have not stayed at Tophams before but going on a CC recommendation.
  3. I have a friend who is on the Joy now. He saw the Beatle band Sunday night so they are definately on this sailing.
  4. Thanks John Bull for the follow up. I do know the stations are different. We went with the Princess transfer mostly due to my wifes mobility issues and handling luggage. Less vehicle transfers is a blessing for me.
  5. My group of 6 is sailing Regal in August and we booked the bus transfer out of Victoria Coach Station to Southampton with Princess. We were going to book Premier Inn - Waterloo but decided to go with Tophams hotel based on some CC recommendations. This is the first time in London for four of us so this location worked well for our two days in London prior to sailing. We can also walk to the station from this location without taking transportation.
  6. Thanks for the info. We've done the bourbon trail in Kentucky back in 19 so pretty much know what to expect. Right now we have booked Bushmill's in Belfast. We will probably do Kinsale vs. Jameson/Middleton. I want to do World of Whisky in Edinburgh if I get the chance.
  7. Thanks. I thought this was just the pickup to return to Hawes Pier. If it's both no worries. Super close to TourEdinburgh buses.
  8. Pulling this back up from July. Wendy do you know where the X99 drops you off in the City Centre? Is it at the HOHO start at Saint Andrews Square North? We are planning to do the same excursion next August. Thank you!
  9. All booked with ToursByLocals for Blarney/Kinsale. After watching a few YouTubes of Kinsale we will probably do this and save Jameson for Dublin/Bow St. If the weather is bad we may opt for Jameson. Onto Dublin now. We will either Uber or take the Dart train in from port.
  10. Thank you! I just checked this out and it looks perfect. You can do Kinsale or Jameson after Blarney.
  11. Thanks. I checked the website but their calendar reflects no available dates to book. I'm wondering if they are still in operation.
  12. Hi, Wife and I along with four others are sailing Regal Princess next August. I'm interested in two excursions. Blarney Castle is 9:30 to 1:30 (2hrs at Castle), and then Cork City Sites/Jameson Whiskey from 2:30 to 6:30. Port departure is 7:00. If anyone has done the Blarney excursion, does the coach get back to the pier on schedule? There should be enough time to make the 2nd excursion even if it's slightly delayed. I expect if the Blarney coach is late getting back to port and we miss the 2:30, Princess would refund us. Thoughts? - George
  13. I only received a basic email receipt after booking Icon yesterday. As suggested here I called to request a booking confirmation PDF. Service rep got a little confused and thought I was looking for cruise docs. They finally did something on their end and I got an immediate email with the booking confirmation. Got to have my hard copy.
  14. Same issue this morning but then was able to get right in. Keep trying and hope for the best.
  15. Good question. I was on VotS last week and our planned port stop at Bar Harbor was cancelled for safety reasons. Not sure if was winds, swells, or both. We couldn't tender. On Friday in the PM I was up on deck 12 walking and the winds were bad. Saturday AM deck 4 and 12 were closed. Would be nice to know what the wind speeds were.
  16. Glad to hear this. We had Benny and Agnelo on 136 DR-3 and they were outstanding all week.
  17. We live in New England so totally understood the uncertainty of the weather here. Wish they would have considered an overnight in Boston tomorrow but I’m sure logistics would be an issue given the timing.
  18. We are also on this sailing. DW, MIL, and I have connecting Promenade Interiors. Our first interior. We rarely use our balcony but DW usually insists. This time I get to try one. We have no official excursions booked either. I'm thinking of doing bike tours in Portland with Lighthouse Bikes ( https://rentle.store/lighthousebikes/product/pEf4CgBwUeiPyNuPZOsi) and in Saint John the Sites & Suds tour with ( http://insideoutnaturecentre.com/bike-tours). DW & MIL will mingle around the port or just stay on the ship. Also looking forward to the Frankie and the Dreamers shows.
  19. Please save these ArriveCAN links. 20. Thanks Nancy. I hope you enjoy your trip. As was suggested previously in this thread, we have reviewed nonstop flight options that work for us and look forward to what EZAir offers.
