Philly Joel is the CD on the Jade.

I am not surprised about Richard. He spent a long time on The Sun.

Very nice young man.

I have thought about that, and I appreciate knowing a bit more about how it works. That does sound like a pretty low stress way to go, and I think it's less expendive than a taxi if you only have a couple of people in your party. Thank you for chiming in.

 

We have 15 in our group so taking a Super Shuttle saves us over $200 compared to Norwegian's ground transfers. The challenge I have is knowing what time to tell them to pick us up. :)

 

BTW, are you sailing on the 31st or, like us, returning that day?

In your case, I would have they pick you at 9:30 A.M. just in cast there is a traffic issue.

I will be disembarking on the 31st. I leave home this Saturday driving to Portland, Oregon and fly into LAX on Sunday morning. I have the transfer package for both ends of the cruise. It is called " leave the driving to them". I drove in LA once about 25 years ago, and have no desire to do it again.

Have you thought about getting a transfer to LAX from Norwegian? They have two options: one for flights before 3 and one for flights after 3. You would be assigned a time and a special baggage tag color for each option.

I will be doing be using this system on the 31st of January. It works well for me.

I have not had any trouble using it for the last few days.

Today show said this a.m., after murder of female u.s news reporter in belize on vacatipn , u.s. issued travel advisory. Going there 2/20 on jade w/teens, little worried.....

She was at a remote resort near the border with Guatemala. The ships tender at Belize City many miles away.

I would not be worried beyond normal safety precautions.

Sometime over the summer they stop have fireworks.

They cited safety issues.

The last time I saw them in June on the Getaway there was NO safety zone at all if something went wrong.

Boarding usually begins sometime after 11 A.M., with Haven passengers boarding first.

The actual time boarding begins on how long it takes to clear passengers from the previous cruise and permission is given to begin boarding.

Do you happen to recall who your Senior Hotel and Bridge Officers were?

Lots of people would like that information if possible.

When I came off the Getaway on the 27th of December (not using Easy Walk Off), I just went across the street and got a cab to the airport. Lots and lots of them available.

With two small children to consider, I would think they would be more comfortable at Cagney's (the steak house) or La Cucina (Italian).
