Please do a live review .They are always enjoyable .Most of all Have a great cruise.

I do not wish to debate this with you ,however,we have 3 friends who have lived in Plainview since 1967 and never once have they driven to the NJ cruiseport with the LIE. I texted all three after reading your post. I live on the south shore of LI and we have only driven to the cruise port with the Southern State.

Driving from where I live to Ronkonkoma on a Sunday morning,a trip that we have done numerous times is an hour without traffic.However,regardless of the day there is always traffic on the Southern State Parkway From my residence to Cape Liberty is always more than an hour.It involves taking the Southern StatevParkway,Belt Parkway,Verrazano Bridge,Staten Island Expressway and the Bayonne Bridge. There is always traffic from and to JFK and traffic from and to Newark airport . Virtually impossible to go from Ronkonkoma to Cape Liberty in 90 minutes .

Are you exceeding the speed limit ? We could not possibly get from Ronkonkoma to Bayonne in less than 2 1/2 hours

Ode to be young again: My 18 year old granddaughter is flying home from college today Tomorrow morning she will be going with a friend by car to visit friends at a college in upstate NY.They will be going home by car Saturday morning. Saturday night she will be flying to Fla to visit friends going to college there, Wednesday morning she will be flying back to college.

That sounds good to me .The best French Fries that I ever ate in a restaurant was at the Greenwich Corner Cafe in the West Village.

The only place that I personally would feel okay stopping in would be in the shopping area near Bay Parkway..I have never gone into a gas station bathroom I also looked for a fast food restaurant that had a bathroom.

The last time I ate Potato Chips .I believe they were a Wise product was probably about 30 years ago.

I have fractured ribs ,fractures of the coccyx ,fractures of my wrists ,facial fractures ,fractures of my toes. I have had falls while on vacations The last fall that I had when I fractured a body part was October 2018.That was in my bedroom .I was on the floor,could not get up .Toby came home ,called 911 and it took 2 Police Officers to get me off the floor.

Well when I had my first fall a doctor in a hospital scheduled me for an MRI of the brain and with a smile on his face said they could find nothing there.

Their grand daughters came in for Mikes funeral from PA and OH ,and just went back home a few days ago ,now they are heading back to NY.

Thanks ,Graham but she is having complications .We spoke to a family member a few hours ago and they were waiting for test results.

I remember my falls because nearly every one caused me to either be in a hospital ER or confined to a hospital .The interesting thing is that I played a lot of sports from age 19 to 23 and never had an injury -Baseball,football,basketball .As a result of my falls I have fractures all over my body.

The first day of my 2015 cruise I wanted to go to the Fitness Center .I realized that the elevator did not go there.I am disabled and cannot walk up and down steps.The Hotel Manager offered to let me use the Crew’s Gym .I thought that was so very nice of him.
