Hello I have never done this before and I am VERY OCD. Although I have traveled quite a bit I have never done this part with Princess before and would appreciate your answers from those who have done this NOT before Covid but after. Thank you in advance QUESTIONS: 1. I prepaid the hotel based on their suggestions. Do I get any paperwork ahead of time from Princess for the hotel? Worrying with all Princess issue hotel won't know paid. 2. They are supposed to pick me up at the airport and take me to the hotel. Will they? 3. They are supposed to take me from the hotel to the pier day of sailing. Will they? 4. Would I be better off making my own arrangements from airport to hotel and from hotel to pier? 5. Do they help with luggage? 6. Are their hotels okay or should I book my own.? I prepaid Princess. 7.. Anything else you think I should please tell me Thanks again Kathy

I asked my PVP to get me ticketed today even though I don't fly until December. I am paid in full and want to make sure I get out of FLL without problems. Lots of tourists and snowbirds that time of year and I want no problems or issues. I am flying Delta and already selected my seat.

Question about amenities you are discussing above. Do you think they are based on the type of cabin you are in meaning like club class or suites or others? I was on CP in Dec/Jan The blue bag was in my closet with the rob. The canapes were I agree icky. The second time I got them they were chocolate covered strawberries.

Is a land tour the same as an excursion? I thought it maybe meant only the cruise/tours??

I am not flying until December but paid in full EZAIr.. I got an email from both EZ Air and Delta that my time was changed a whopping 3 minutes. Still check at least once a week and was grateful that they at least let me know and made me feel like they knew I was alive............

The government announced about 6 weeks ago you could get 8 MORE FREE by applying on the site they gave. This was in ADDITION to the first ones they gave for free I told my clients and friends to order them cause most of them never pay attention to anything. Anyway we all got them this week. You are correct. I speak to one cabin steward and one floor supervisor at least once a week on What's App. One is back on the ship the other the best cabin steward is begging to get back on a ship. He has told me he has to wait his turn as so many want to work and they have to wait till the others get their turn on a ship first. They are both from India Kathy

This addresses the marketing Princess is doing. I own an advertising agency. The one thing that could be done is IF someone wanted to find a lawyer is file a class action suit for false advertising. Princess would have to send a letter to all who have sailed I am not sure within a certain amount of time once it is filed to either opt in or out. Then comes proving it which most people probably could. The point I would see happening is one of two things. It would take years and would it really be worth what and if the suit would win? The amount each person would receive would probably be very small. It could be the final straw for CCL the negative publicity the suit would bring & the suit itself. Bottom line is as many of you have said we can complain and moan probably to no avail or move on to another line. Personally I for the time being am staying with Princess. Kathy.

I am paid in full for the cruise. When does Princess pay for my ticket and when do I receive it? Also about pre cruise hotel if anyone knows. Do I get any documents? I was able to book a seat already on Delta. Thank you Kathy

The $150 is a number I picked you can obviously pick whatever you want. I am NOT talking after final payment. Please reread my postS. I have never tried after final payment Kathy

That is why I pay all but $150 until the very last day. I use a PVP Kathy

Guys I am happy I was able to get some of you some extra money back. If you reread my initial post, what I do is pay it all off every cruise way before my due date all but $150. This way if the fare drops I am pretty sure I will get the drop. I have never had one this much before but it sure made me a happy camper. Like I said above it pays to keep on top of these prices on the web site. We all know PVP and TA don't do it for us. We have to be proactive in anything we do in this world now...................... I had a booking that I had paid in full all but $150. It is not until December and was over $10000 as I travel solo. It is CC dead center of ship. I watch it every day mainly looking for cruises for the Caribbean next year & check it as well.. About an hour ago It went down over $3000 on the web site. I took tons of pictures in case they told me it was a mistake. Took me an hour to get my PVP and I got it. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited. I guess the point is keep checking their web sites Kathy

Again that is the more elderly. Remember I live in the land of over 65 the retirees.. You would agree when driving down here believe me. Between the tourists not knowing where they are going and the elderly driving like turtles I am almost in an accident every time I drive. I have lived here since 72 and I know this area like the back of my hand. Plus I own a company that does direct mail coupon magazines so i have to know the areas. I am always on the road. The other night my brother and I went to dinner at 730 and we had a 2 hour wait. That was the norm not the exception.

People here in South Florida where I live Ft. Lauderdale very few people eat early. I don't know where you live but could be an age thing. I am not saying you are old I am saying people down here like to party or stay at the beach before going to dinner.............my brother who was here for the past two weeks said it liked eating later which he normally does not do.
