    I would wager that both RC & X use the same contractor to manage the bid program. Something here doesn't make sense.

    Thought this might have been a good idea for this board. The one on Celebrity has been running for 5 years and has over 1,500 posts. Granted, some are questions - but the majority is good basic information for trends in winning a bid.

    Also D+, but between the BOGO and the 3 night dining pkg we will try to avoid the chaos the MDR often is.

    Saved us $82.60 bottom line. Also are D+, but we prefer better brands of liquor so use the coupons for specialty coffees, etc.

    For us, the primary advantage to Blu is to avoid the chaos often found in the MDR. We have had some outstanding meals there and some just OK - but never a bad one and never went hungry. The more civilized atmosphere of the smaller venue keeps us coming back. How much is that worth? Up to each to decide.

    Hire a reputable in-house dog sitter? Your vet might have a recommendation.

    Not shiny new & glitzy, but the Divina is our favorite YC ship. Just the right size.

    Apparently, the only way to get RC to do the right thing these days is to create a social media s**t storm. Guess I'm old, I remember when RC was somewhat of an ethical company.

    We don't drink exotic blended or "umbrella" drinks, so our favorite bar on this class ship has always been the Ensemble Lounge. Usually book AQ, so it's close to Blu as well as the specialty restaurants. Has always had a fun bar staff.

    We usually get to the port about 10. Generally escorted straight to and through security then up to the terminal lounge for final check in, then escorted on board. Quick & easy process. Butlers will handle the wheelchair.

    Always amazes me that they have the technology to take the money immediately - but takes a week+ to get it back.

    I can empathize with the OP. We are also not wild @ RC's transition to mostly "Coney Island of the Seas". We are high point D+, never book the cheap rooms and have moved on for the most part to both Celebrity & MSC (Yacht Club only).

    Yes, but you will need to share the same log-in and password. Just make something up that all can remember.

    I usually don't buy the dining package due to the restrictions/they will decide when and where we dine. I did buy it for our April cruise - but like I've read others say - if it does not change to allow selection of time and place by the end of January, we will simply cancel. Easy enough.

    We usually hit Blu at 6 on the first night & let them know we will be there every night at 6 - unless we let them know ahead of time (specialty, etc.). Never had a problem so far.

    I must be old. I remember when "My" time dining meant you were the "My" and not them. Need to change it to (TTD) Their Time Dining or another name that I'd get flagged for posting.

    I don't have a problem waiting until I'm on board. If the times we want aren't available, we will simply cancel it.
