    Not much else unless you are sailing from a country that requires vaccination or an enhanced cruise (longer cruises that require vaccination). You still need to do your health check on the medallion or answer the questions on the pier

    If you are in a club class cabin no issue. Just show up at the club class entrance with your medallion and be seated no need for reservations

    No enforcement outside of the dining room and even there unless you arrive in shorts, torn jeans or wifebeaters you will be seated. I have not worn a tie on years. Slacks and long sleeve shirt with sports coat is as fancy as I get. 2nd formal is usually when lobster is on the menu if that matters to you

    Just talk to the head waiter and they can preview the next nights dinner and make accommodations. The first night may be an issue

    There are 8 inch cakes you can order on some ships. They are displayed at the IC. Perhaps she ordered it there

    Princess casinos are not smoke free. 1 side of slots allows smoking 1 doesn’t but of course if it is crowded the smoke will travel. Table games are smoke free. Some machines are penny machines but the minimum to bet is more than 1 cent. Last time I played black jack the minimum bet was $6

    You do know that the line knows your birthday correct. ? That is how the know how old you are on embarkation day. You can see your age on the travel summary

    Casino cruises do not have deposits per se You have to pay the entire price up front. $200 per person which comes back as OBC, all taxes and fees plus any upgrades you request (like Princess Plus or higher cabin class

    We got covid on the Royal in August. Now that we just got our 4th booster and have some added anti bodies from the infection we feel as protected as we could be. We have around 50 sailing days booked from November to September

    A shot added to the coffee would count against your 15 for the day. Otherwise all coffees included

    If you have a club class cabin there should be no chaos on first night dinner. You have your own entrance they just need to scan your medallions and seat you. Are you sure you have club class mini ?

    We have them access to our medical history and they did a blood test.

    We requested it and then they gathered our health history and did blood tests. As seniors we believed it to be important to keep symptoms down

    The Paxlovid was $750 plus price of blood test and Came to just under $1,000. Waiting on reimbursement from my health provider now
