No. When you booked there was only one package option which included 15 drinks a day at no more than $12 per drink. That is now called the Plus package. The. new Premiere package costs more and includes drinks up to $18 each. You are getting exactly what you paid for
Any location with a lot of people in enclosed area will have danger of covid. We caught covid on a ship in Alaska and my sisters entire family caught it in Disney World some for the 2nd time and yes we all wear masks in elevators and rest rooms
I think you can pretty much assume to any vacation area with crowds there is a chance of getting covid. We caught it on the southbound leg of a b2b in Alaska and my sisters family all got it visiting Disney World. Almost everyone I know has had it at least once
In my opinion the chefs dinner is way to much food and a very non foodie group who only want to gorge themselves. We stopped going years ago. Also how many cook books can one have when they never change
This is not something new folks or have people not cruised post pandemic or looked at Princess.com or followed the numerous threads here on this subject.
The Princess website only shows a few ships with the gastro pub. The Grand is not one of those. The Ruby, Crown and Emerald all do and I am happily sailing on all 3 in the next 12 months
Never had a problem going to the venue after boarding and booking a time. Calling the dine line will get you a limited amount of time options but we have actually just walked in on embarkation night and been seated
Most ships sushi bars are only open after 4 pm. So no lunch available. I believe the Discovery is the only ship where they have lunch. The Ocean Terrace locations only do dinner
We use air tags. Works great. When Princess put some on the wrong bus when we were headed to quarantine in Canada we could see they were headed elsewhere and were able to call and get them redirected
You are already paying a tip on the drinks. We pay out extra on the last night of the cruise to bartenders and servers who we frequented throughout the cruise and have given us great service
If any bartender consistently poured larger than usual they would be caught when managers compare bottles and receipts same with higher grade liquor. Remember in the plus programs there are multiple brands available
Not much else unless you are sailing from a country that requires vaccination or an enhanced cruise (longer cruises that require vaccination). You still need to do your health check on the medallion or answer the questions on the pier
