  1. And then you would hear. “ I bought 15 specialty coffees and didn’t use them all”. Just like we hear about plus cocktails
  2. You are probably lucky you didn’t follow through on your threat as we most likely would have been stopped ny security and confined to quarters
  3. It may or be not in Sabatini’s but there is always a separate location for full suite breakfast on every ship
  4. I just prop mine up next to the lamp no problem ever
  5. They are the same people and there are tons of them. It is only getting worse This is another reason we will not eat at the buffet
  6. You are correct. It is either Reserve or not. No special priority for minus over others
  7. It has been that way for awhile and different staterooms are offered on each option. For example I am booked on a B2B Alaska which can also be booked as one 14 day cruise. If you try to book the 14 day no suites are available but a few are available on the 7 days. And even when I booked a year ago the suite options were different on each cruise option. I could not get an aft suite I liked as a 14 but could on the 2 7 day cruises. Also in a suite that means I get 2 free specialty dinners and up to 4 mini bars
  8. My CVP always gets back to me in 24 hours during working days
  9. Just relating what I was told on board last month.
  10. Doesn’t the post mention the Majestic not the Sky
  11. It doesn’t even have to count as your personal item. It is considered medical and you can still have another. I have often traveled with a CPAP and a carryon. No need to check any bags
  12. That posting just says Bar not bartenders. Per a friend who is a bartender the wait staff is included but bartenders are under a separate contract
  13. What you are referring to is FCD. Future Cruise Deposit. You don’t need to get them from Future cruise your CVP can handle them. $100 takes care of your deposit and you get OBC based on length of cruise. They are good for 1year now after purchase or if not used you get your money back. Still a great program
  14. That’s why on the Crown there was a big sign with an arrow outside Reserve dining pointing to Da Vinci
  15. When pricing is close I take the b2b to get extra specialty dinners etc. if the difference is more than a few hundred no I would not change
  16. Can you show me screen sit if this. I know we don’t pay that much for one person to upgrade just the WiFi when we both have plus osckages
  17. Are you looking at WiFi by itself or as part of the plus package ? Also do not confuse the Princess value for actual charges. The length of cruise makes a difference. We cruise for up to 3 weeks at a time and premier vrs plus is $40 per day if we take premier.
  18. So you stiff all the waiters and bartenders in restaurants on land. ? If so I would not go to the same restaurant very often. Back in the day funny things would be done back in the kitchen. We tip a good deal and I will guarantee you that I will get better made drinks served quicker than you
  19. Noy all tables are booked pre cruise. I have eaten at the Crown Grille on every cruise I have taken in the last 5-10 years and never pre booked
  20. If you are in a full suite you have Reserve dining you cannot make reservations just show up and you will be seated. There is no concierge lounge on Grand class ships
  21. Plus program gets you up to 15 cocktails a day. If you are like us and drink Grey Goose vodka martinis and Woodford Bourbon Manhattans. Then plus gives you the alcohol you need It used to be $10 per day and both people in cabin do not have to upgrade the WiFi
  22. Since on a typical 2 week cruise we will consume well over a hundred cocktails mostly from one or two bars we will top out much more than that at the end of the cruise. Especially when it is a bartender we know from past trips and they always give us outstanding service
  23. That is a regular mini suite so you should be able to make dinner reservations through the app or the online version of the app
  24. I have found that in most suites the side of the bed closest to the bathroom is also where the desk is with the electrical outlets. Therefore I bring an extension cord
  25. Haines is often used as an alternative to Skagway. I have seen it mostly due to weather when a ship is due to be anchored off of the pier and the captain does not think it is safe to tender
