  1. I am confused- no story up yet on this inciddent but there is a video?
  2. Carnival sell a sling for the water bottles on the ship.
  3. The liter bottle are big but we take them to shore.
  4. I got some I-messages, Facebook, and Snap and Chat messages plus notifications from my security camera.
  5. If you a past Carnival cruiser, you also get a free 1L bottle of water.
  6. I get a couple of lobsters but it is not Maine Lobster.
  7. Right, it is not summer camp or basic training.
  8. We did two cruises in the last year with FTTF, it was 14 days for us.
  9. Since the Half Moon drinks are not included in the 15 drinks many Cheers folks should like that since many complain that they aren't allowed to buy extra drinks. Of course, if Carnival and Holland American wanted to find a way to use the drink package there, they would but the current system is a means of generating more revenue.
  10. The Sign and Sail card is not used electronically so they had no way of keeping track of the amount of drinks. Since the Half Moon drinks are not included in the 15 drinks many Cheers folks should like that since many complain that they aren't allowed to buy extra drinks.
  11. Then just like us, Cheers does not seem cost-effective for you. Enjoy.
  12. Remember there is also an 18% service charge on all drinks. If you plan on having a few drinks every day then Cheers make sense when you include the non-alcoholic extras.
  13. Please don't chunk the empties over the side of the ship! (I saw this on my last cruise.)
  14. One solution is to buy or rent a mobility scooter. Dozens of people will have them on the ship. (please make sure her doctor has cleared her and make sure there are no undected medical concerns.)
  15. Ok, I agree but I am just reporting what I have observed.
  16. I can only confirm what I observed on more than one cruise. I notice many people with Cheers would order an alcoholic drink with a sports drink, a soda, or water on more than one occasion. Some rather openly shared the drinks with others.
  17. I have noticed a few excursions offered on the ships that were not online before the cruise.
  18. Many people with Cheers get non-alcoholic drinks for their kids.
  19. Many people order a non-alcoholic drink every time they order an alcoholic drink.
  20. I am sure ths will be enforced just like the elegant night dress code.
  21. There was a casino bar in June of this year.
  22. It is not normal but yes thieves are smart and quick. They can unzip it a few inches and reach in to quickly find something that may be of value. thankfully, 99.9% of them are trustworthy.
  23. You have to ask for them. Water any time, drink on the last evening. Plus there is a loyalty pin at the photo desk.
  24. I hate to say this but baggage handlers are untrustworthily. The porters taking the bags from the car can quickly open them without being notice search for anything of value. Secondly, those doing the x-ray can notice something of potential value and open it themselves or pass that information on to a crew member who can quickly reach in and take it. Most places have cameras watching them but remember crooks have the time and patience to wait for the best time. I have noticed my luggage have been opened several times since I do put a few things in there that may flag security such as a small mag light that can look like a gun barrel on an x-ray buy I expect this. If someone want to rifle through my skivves just hope they are wearing gloves.
