  1. Several days (couple of weeks ago) the Windjammer DID have a decent selection on the Salad Bar and I was able to make a good salad. NOT the MDR version of old, but better than nothing.
  2. Two - 2 & 8 1 - Casual 6 - Casual 2 - Dress to Impress 7 - Tropical 3 - Casual 8 - Dress to Impress 4 - 70's Attire 9 - Casual 5 - Casual 10 - Casual
  3. Not to fan the flame, but I've gone solo to have my and my wife's cards scanned on our last three cruises. OBVIOUSLY, we both know the drill and where our station is. She DOES use a walker and/or wheelchair so we satisfy the spirit, if not the absolute letter of the rule.
  4. I believe the captain said they did have starlink, BUT the wireless gear inside is the original slow/flaky stuff, so only the internet cafe/business center computers had decent internet.
  5. Be sure to use the EXACT name 😉 My official name is Gregory but I've gone by Greg since 2nd grade. Web browsers always suggest Greg and I have to remember to fix it.
  6. Or one person can take them all and let the others be free 🙂
  7. We ate at Samba since it's the next to last one in the fleet. Heard it's going away when Radiance is refurbished in 2024. Last one will be on Allure.
  8. Here you go! Day 1 Good show Day 2 EXCELLENT Show Day 3 Passed on both these Day 4 NOT to be missed. Sounds "meh" but it was amazing. GREAT silks routine (like Cirque de Sole) Day 5 "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" was one of many tunes. Day 6 Passed on this one, but heard it was a pretty good show. Day 7 Passed on both these Day 8 If you enjoy (mostly) acapella singing, don't miss this one. Day 9 Passed on both these. Day 10 Great show. If you've never seen the Egg Drop (on Centrum ships) it's a real treat. Hope this helps. Let me know if you want to see anything else.
  9. I have the paper compasses, let me get the list from those. I can't remember them all.
  10. And we heard from the manager that it will be coming out of Radiance during a 2024 update. Last of a dying concept from long ago 😮‍💨
  11. Just to follow up - My email to mbayley@rccl.com got an OUTSTANDING response. We were refunded the entire cost of the excursion as well as an FCC good through 2/9/2024 for 20% of the fare. $364.00. NOT happy about not getting to see the Panama Canal, but pleased with RCCL's accommodation. I'd always heard emailing him was a good thing, and I think this confirms that. 🙂
  12. The tour was listed as 6:40 with 90 minutes each way to/from the Canal zone/theater. We were there on Sunday, so there was NO TRAFFIC and we made it to the Visitor Center in about an hour. The only mention of time on site was in the original tour description: Enjoy free time at the IMAX experience and a panoramic tour of the Old Canal Zone to learn more about the canal's history. I'd already verified that the movie was 45 minutes, so we had PLENTY of time to hang out there a bit to take some pictures.
  13. 10 nights visiting Progreso, Cartegena, Panama and Cozumel. Panama Canal was the primary reason, the other ports were just on the way 🙂
  14. I did, got apologies and a 20% refund. Sent a letter to ShorEx and MBayley explaining my dissatisfaction.
  15. I guess I learned the hard way to ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT AND ASSUME NOTHING when purchasing Shore Excursions in the Cruise Planner: We had 4 options mentioning Panama Canal, and 3 had lots of mobility restrictions (not wheelchair accessible, lots of steps/standing required, etc) that prevent my wife (and I) from taking them. So.... I bought "Panama Canal & IMAX Experience" ASSUMING that since the movie is IN the Mira Flores Visitor Center, that we'd be going to the Observation Deck and Gift Shop and THEN see some of the Canal Zone on the way to/from there. Imagine our surprise when we learned (after the fact) that our tour doesn't even SEE the canal, ONLY the movie. We were herded off the bus up to the 2nd floor theater and back down as soon as the credits roll and herded back onto the bus. NO opportunity to visit the Observation Deck or Gift Shop. No explanation or anything. After we were back on the bus and pressed the tour guide for explanation we were told that in spite of the NAME of the tour, we ACTUALLY received a TOTALLY boring "Canal Zone Sightseeing" tour of a cemetery and former US outpost facilities/neighborhoods that were converted to civilian use when President Peanut gave away the Canal Zone. Had this been ADVERTISED as a "Canal Zone sightseeing ride that totally bypasses SEEING the Canal" I'd have certainly purchased a different excursion in spite of the restrictions and made it work. Once in a lifetime/bucket list cruise pretty much destroyed by poor RCCL Shore Ex marketing/delivery. Maybe a one-time fluke, maybe not. Anyway, don't let this happen to you 🙂
  16. Screwed up and bought "Panama Canal & IMAX Experience" that doesn't even SEE the canal, ONLY the movie. Herded off the bus up to the 2nd floor theater and back down as soon as the credits roll and herded back onto the bus. NO opportunity to visit the Observation Deck or Gift Shop. TOTALLY boring "Canal Zone" tour of cemetery and former US outpost facilities that were converted to civilian use when President Peanut gave away the Canal Zone.
  17. Ain't that the truth 🙂 Paying $1.16 a gallon and Out of Stock more often than not.
  18. If we got the Key, drop carryon at MDR (or where ever they collect them) Head to MDR to verify/change table. We prefer 2 Top by the window. Have lunch either MDR or Windjammer Check in at our Muster Station Hang out close to our room so we can get in as soon as they let us and take a nap before Sail Away
  19. Some (Most?) have a lever on the base to disengage the motor so you can roll it easier.
