  1. Intended for CarryOns, not all your luggage
  2. Call them on the phone and hope you get someone that's willing to go beyond the "standard" 30-60 day policy. I got some pushed through to use on the Black Friday sale 6 hours before it expired.
  3. Last year we had two options, like you said, one was the tour and the other was JUST the shuttle. The description you quote "sounds" like the admission-included full tour. Our guide actually went above and beyond the "standard" tour you'd get buying it at the door. Hope this helps.
  4. Did the balloon and would do it again any time I could. FANTASTIC 360 degree views of CocoCay and the adjacent islands.
  5. Usually get them before we get halfway home driving 6 hours 🙂
  6. Stayed at both. They're great for their age. Anything in particular you're looking for?
  7. You can get water and an extension cord - send a request to special_needs@rccl.com
  8. Empress back in 93. First cruise ever, with our in-laws. Still named Nordic Empress Majesty in 09. Fourth cruise, also with in-laws. LOVED Grandeur last October
  9. (505.78/2)/11=22.99 RCI IT strikes again 🙂
  10. Did this a couple of years ago. Called the number on the Rewards website. They were able to transfer the the funds to a new cruise. Don't think we ever tried to them back, just rolled forward.
  11. And to not feel guilty just walking away from the table when you're done 🙂
  12. Maybe a slight exaggeration, but you can see "out" from virtually everywhere on the ship.
  13. If you cruise and a satisfied with a nice room, attended a couple of times a day, good food 3-5 times a day, relaxation on a balcony or pool deck, then YES, you'll be fine with RC's smaller ships. If, on the other hand, your require a large variety of entertainment/play options, want to have multiple restaurant choices, and enjoy mobs of people everywhere, you'll probably NOT be happy on RC's smaller ships.
  14. We did PofA in 2018 and treat most of our RC cruises the same.
  15. We were on her for a 4 night back in May and I really enjoyed the "classic" nature and small size. We've done every class below Quantum, even the Majesty and long retired Empress OTS when she was still the Nordic Empress. We cruise for cruising and watching the water go by WAY more than eating and playing, so the minimalist style was fine with us. The beverage station is "outside" the WJ on the pool deck, so open (may not be fully stocked) 24 hours a day. Ice/Water machine and coffee/tea. IF you're a light sleeper you might bring earplugs as she does tend to creak and moan a lot 🙂
  16. Maybe he had some real "Captain duty" to perform rather than visiting with guests 🙂
  17. Absolutely depends on the kids 🙂 If they have any interest in things mechanical, then probably would enjoy it. If not into that, then would be a waste of money.
  18. ONE scooter should work, but I'm not sure ANY room smaller than a suite will have room for two.
  19. Implying it wouldn't/couldn't happen on one of their "sanctioned" excursions???? Sad regardless
  20. I was digging into my "Cruises box" a few weeks ago and found a sealed pack of playing cards AND a boxed set of menu/recipe cards, Towel Folding instructions and "Sweet Dreams" cards. Who remembers the "North Star Bag in a Ball"?
