  1. As she constantly repeated throughout the video, she assumed or she though, she even admitted that she did not bother to check. Had she taken the time to look through the post about Move Up here on CC she would have found out that only the amenties are included and not the perks. I have seen multiple post explaining this.
  2. We love Spam. One of my favorite breakfast ore snack items is spam musubi. I also like spam with eggs and rice for breakfast, lunch, and or dinner. We buy ours at Costco and it's definitely cheaper than $4.00 for 12oz.
  3. Not a what but who, LLP is CC speak for Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, President and CEO of Celebrity Cruises.
  4. That was the place where I wish there was a chat feature or something for the audience to post comments/questions. I'd sure like to know where she dines when she is onboard, then again I suspect there is a special chef that makes all her meals. Maybe one day I'll have to take one of the "Cruise with the CEO" cruises and see just how different things are when she's onboard.
  5. Have him log into his account and see what email address is associated with his account. Normally the email address you sign in with is the one Celebrity uses to communicate with you, or at least it is that way in my wife and my accounts.
  6. We are sailing on Harmony for the first time and have not sailed in a suite on Oasis class since 2017. I have a couple of questions specific to Harmony: 1. I understand that beer, wine, and soda is served for free n the Suite Lounge. Are they also free on the Suite Deck? 2. Are food items available on the Suite Deck? 3. Is there a charge for the cabanas or are they just first come, first serve? 4. How crowded is the Suite Lounge during the day, outside of the 5:30 - 8:00 pm hours? We normally use the Suite Lounge to relax after breakfast and before lunch, to give our stateroom attendant an opportunity to service the room.
  7. Randy, This is similar to what we encountered on the Edge Retreat Sun Deck so I am sure that will be fine. I am sure we will make the best of it, one way or another. Worse case scenario is we go grab a table in Sushi on Five. My wife might prefer that anyway. I have not seen a menu but our past experience was the Luminae Burger and a turkey wrap sandwiches were available. We are not looking for a three course meal, just something to get us through the day. We only have five port days, so I am sure we'll figure something out. The last thing anyone has to worry about is going hungry on a cruise. It's more about ambiance than the food for us.
  8. I wish I could tell you but I have no recent experience with this situation. I know the one time, six years ago, I forgot to take a printed copy of our Set Sail Pass with us, I was not allowed to use the Suite Line to go through security but was able to check in at the Suite counter inside the terminal. Since then, I have made a habit of printing out a copy as soon as we get it and take that copy with us.
  9. Ah, the Platterss -GMTA. I hope we are not aging ourselves.
  10. Actually, from what I understand, it goes directly into their paycheck..
  11. How was lunch on the Retreat Sundeck ? Were there any shady spots where two people can dine?
  12. I believe you can still go back and watch it.
  13. Because there is no Giovanni's on Harmony but there is a Jamie's. Guess I got confused on which restaurant they wanted the menu for. Sorry.
  14. What puzzles me is that he was sailing in a suite and did not comment on the Luminae Burger. I have had good burgers at the Mast Grill and OVC and I have had bad burgers in both but can't say I have ever had a bad Luminae Burger. Granted, Guy's on Carnival is free and the Luminate Burger is only available to suite class passengers, which is not a fair comparison but to say they do not know how to make a "good burger" is a generalization.
  15. Surprisingly enough, I had picked up envelopes from the Suite Concierge on Quantum but then found some our stateroom attendant left in the room as well. There is also an 'additional gratuties' form you can use to give tips to individuals and venue's, we have used it for the Coastal Kitchen staff, that is available from Guest Services. Any tips you give using this form are charged to your onboard account and it is how we use any excess OBC or if we run short of cash.
  16. Go to the suite Concierge and request an additional gratuities form. Fill out this form naming the specific person and their position or a venue on the ship. Turn this back in to the Concierge or to Guest Services. The total amount of gratuities will be charged to your onboard account, which goes again any OBC with remainder going against your credit card or cash account. This is what I did on Quantum of the Seas on our last cruise to tip the sushi chef and our stateroom attendant. .
  17. If I did not know better already I would have said 'spoken like a true sailor.' However, all I can say is I resemble that remark, a lot.
  18. Ask on the boards for the other cruise lines if you think you will get a different answer. Above someone stated that it's universal across all cruise lines, at least for the last 7 years.
  19. If you go to where you booked it, there is a Sample Menu link there that shows the lunch menu. Clicking on that link takes you here
  20. Seems to me that taking care of your dad would come ahead of upgrading to Aqua class. Stay where you are, be close to him.
  21. She kept saying "I thought". This is what happens when people do not do their research. It's explained in the Move Up documentation that it only includes the amenities, not the perks. Research, research, and more research, She did get access to a Butler, Luminae, and the Retreat, although earlier she says only the larger, nicer room.
  22. The audio was the best part .. As for me -- City, Red Wine, cheese, Greek Islands (have sailed the Amalfi Coast but not Greece)
  23. We have not received the email yet but I am watching the webinar right now anyway!
