  1. Have a rum old fashioned, something other than Kracken since you are already having that for @Sea Dog, for me!
  2. Yes, the Diamond Vouchers, unlike the drink package, can be use to purchase drinks for others. Just let the bartender know when you order to use the voucher for one of the drinks.
  3. A common misconception. The time you received when you checked in for your cruise is your check in time not your boarding time. Boarding does not commence at a fixed time. It commences once the ship has reached 'zero count' from the previous cruise at which time Back-to-Back guest board. After that then Suites/Pinnacles are called to board, followed by Key. Announcements are made near the boarding doors but our experience has been that it is extremely loud in the boarding are by that time with hundreds of people talking over each other and the person making the announcements is not always easy to understand when using that damn megaphone. Asking someone once you see passengers starting to board is the best option if you are unsure and or did not understand any announcements.
  4. You will receive a letter in your stateroom giving you the details of what you need to do. @Nick67was told that he had to pack items that were on hangers, we did not have to. After getting the letter if you are still not sure, ask Guest Services or whomever it says to contact on your B2B instruction letter. Talk with your current stateroom attendant and make sure he knows you are a B2B guest, he should but it does not hurt to make sure. Depending on the location of your rooms, you may have the same attendant, but not always.
  5. In the Information Security World this is called "check the box mentality." It does not matter if it's effective or not.
  6. We've never done a suite except on Oasis and Quantum class ships. Our first cruise in 2007 was in a balcony. Next cruise was Junior Suite and we stuck with those until we sailed on Oasis in a Suite. My DW feel in love with Coastal Kitchen so ships that have that venue, I am required to book us in a suite. Ships that do not, we normally just get a junior suite. Given all the recent price increases and my full retirement last year, we'll just have to see what we do going forward. Other than a single cruise on Carnival, our very first cruise, we have sailed exclusively on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. Not sure if that will change or not going forward. We have Harmony booked for next month and Celebrity booked for April. Will make a decision after those cruises.
  7. If you want to check pre-cruise. - Log into your RCCL account, in the upper right hand corner click on your initials. Select "Order History" and then select details for each order. You'll see what you booked.
  8. Unless they are booked in a Sky or Star class suite.
  9. Yes. We've never had to move anything on a B2B or take anything other than documents and valuables off the ship with us on TAD.
  10. I thought the MDR "no show" had been debunked and it was a fee for Speciality Restaurant No Shows?
  11. Post COVID it has been at the 45 day mark for us. Take at look at the Celebrity App for your cruise and it will show your check in date.
  12. I never thought to pay attention anywhere other than Luminae but rest assured I will now.
  13. Rob from Peter to give to Paul. Now why was I taught that was a bad thing growing up?
  14. I will have to see if I can duplicate that in April.
  15. I believe that is a property in Nassau that Nicholas Cage owns or owned at one time.
  16. Yes, I believe they were used in both Murano and Tuscan Grill.
  17. Don't forget to keep track of the drinks, alcohol and non-alcohol, in the Retreat Lounge. Those would be drinks you would be having in another venue if you were not in a suite with the DBP. I average about four to six bottles of soda/water/Vitamin Water Zero or more a day. Those add up quickly.
  18. When was this? We have always had a table for just the two of us in Luminae unless we asked others to join us or others asked us to join them.
  19. Just of a note -- has anyone else noted that Riedel glasses are what they use in Luminae?
  20. The OP asked about the Happy Hour drinks. As @kathynorthsaid, her non-Elite daughter would not be able to receive free Elite Happy Hour drinks but would be welcomed to attend events with her, including the Elite Breakfast.
  21. No, those are included free as part of the breakfast service.
  22. We normally drop ours off in our room prior to going to lunch but I know what you mean.
  23. I strongly encourage those that object to this reduction in offerings in the OVC during dinner hours start writing Lisa Lutoff- Perlo right now to try and show that guest are displeased. I also encourage those of you that are in agreement with this change to also write and show your support.
  24. Isn't your check-in time, it's not boarding time, shown on your boarding pass? A simple glance at your boarding pass shows them what your assigned check-in time is and that is how they woud manage it.
