  1. We have found that no matter what, reading and understanding the Terms and Conditions of each cruise line makes a huge difference. NCL is not great at clear and/or consistent information, so can be confusing when they make changes to things. If we choose our stateroom well and make certain that we choose the items we truly want, and find an itinerary with pricing that looks acceptable, we enjoy our cruises! For the most part, @Liljo22 and @DCGuy64 have already covered the rest.
  2. It actually isn't completely unlikely that the SPA Balcony and Spa Club Balcony Suites are sold-out, since, they are an $$ attractive way to get a balcony and Spa access in one step. Both are very popular.
  3. I agree with the previous two posts. We had no problems getting the waters we wanted when dining, from a bar, or as we prepared to go on shore.
  4. Perhaps this might be of help: https://www.ncl.com/onboard-packages/bottled-water-packages
  5. Perhaps this will help you... https://www.ncl.com/why-cruise-norwegian/casino-cruise/players-club
  6. Reserve by selecting 2. When you get to the restaurant, let them know if you are solo at that time!
  7. Flowers used to be available to order Pre-cruise. However, there are no listings available in my searches. Perhaps NCL ended them as part of their Sail and Sustain measures.
  8. Packages have only been rising in costs! Yes, one couple may use "package" while the second couple pays ala carte. Have you looked at any menus? The Ala Carte pricing could quickly add up in just one restaurant to what the package costs for two! Below, I have an example link for Los Lobos (happens to be on PRIMA, but should be same on all ships). https://www.ncl.com/sites/default/files/PRIMA_Los-Lobos_Mobile-Menu_010823.pdf
  9. I don't recall exact costs, but it seems like somewhere in the $5-$6 range.
  10. Did you happen to find this page?... https://www.ncl.com/onboard-packages/bottled-water-packages
  11. If you order one of the water packages, it is delivered to your room (and nobody is checking who is consuming it).
  12. The criteria is most likely "whichever is least expensive for the necessary date(s)". IAH(Bush) is much larger than Hobby, and, is about an hour+ further north (time is always variable).
  13. DH and I each had our upgrades applied very soon after the program was implemented. we were both pleased with the results on those cruises. Looking back, we are very happy that we didn't wait longer!
  14. Agree! It is a nice red that DH and I have enjoyed quite a few times.
  15. The ongoing situation does provide incentive to carry onboard favorite wines. The fact that NCL no longer charges the "corkage fee" to do so has increased the incentive to have what we truly prefer. (In reality, we might, or might not, do so.)
  16. Try this: https://www.ncl.com/about/accessible-cruising#medical-needs
  17. All bars that you have access to are included, but "experiences" and "flights" have fees. If there are port fees, the bartenders are pretty good at informing everyone ahead of ordering.
  18. You might want to consider Aft-Facing-Balcony rooms since they have some of the largest balconies (if you are not looking at Suites/Haven rooms).
  19. Thank you for posting those great photos and the information!
  20. You might get the information you want (and more) by looking through this informative post:
  21. Clam Shells to shade chaise lounges cost money (DO have a fee)! Chairs/lounges are no charge.
